Recap

Betty copes with the death of Gus, and attends his funeral. At the end of the service, a man approaches Betty to tell her there's something she doesn't know about Gus.

She meets the man later and learns that Gus knew of faults with the capsule, particularly it's flammability, but that his findings were ignored.

Betty talks with Alan and Deke in hopes of finding out who is responsible. They insist the truth will come out, but then NASA announces they'll be moving forward with the mission on schedule.

Pat also struggles with the death of her husband, and Louise makes it her mission to help her.

Betty insists on going into the congressional hearing and collapses when she hears the recordings from the explosion. There, she learns that Gus is being blamed for the explosion.

Meanwhile, Rene and Scott are back, and they have both been doing what they dreamt of. Scott reads Rene's articles and tells her he understands it now. He's supportive of what she has been doing.

Deke gives a speech on behalf of Gus at Alan's anniversary party, and says everyone is to blame except for the three men who were killed. Alan follows it up by saying the way to honor them all is to slow down.
