Lip starts the process of trying to adopt Xan. He realizes it's going to be an uphill battle and gets ready to fix up the Gallagher home. 

CPS shows up earlier than planned. Fiona is drunk, and there are children all over the house. 

Lip flips out on Fiona, and she vows to apologize to him. She later decides to visit him at work to apologize, but Jason is there. 

She shares her vodka with him, breaking his sobriety and he goes on to take drugs. Lip goes on to tell her that he wants her out of the house.
