- Danny's death is still weighing heavily on Charlie and Rachel. As they take shelter in an abandoned hospital, Flynn comes to retrieve the two pendants. Rachel destroys them when she realizes that Flynn can track them. Aaron, Charlie, and Rachel are able to escape. Later than night Charlie breaks down in Rachel's arms.
- Miles and Nora recruit an old friend.
- Through flashbacks, it's shown Flynn loses his son in Afganistan. The night before the blackout it's shown that he gives the order for the tower to release the virus.
