Recap

-In 2002, Nolan convinces Amanda Clarke to read her father's journals and it leads her down the path to becoming Emily Thorne.

-Emily gets a job with the caterer at the Grayson's party. While there she finds Roger, a friend of her father's who says he knows the truth and will share it with her. 

-Frank fears that Roger is trying to blackmail the Graysons and soon Roger ends up dead in his bathtub, an apparent suicide.

-Emily overhears the Graysons talking about what they did to her father and vows to do anything to get her Revenge and make the Grayson's pay.

-Jack's father sells the family house to Nolan because he runaway wife returned wanted a divorce and her half of what they owned. Mr. Porter keeps it from his boys because he doesn't want his sons to know that their mother never even asked about them.
