Tom and Andy do their best to find donors for Ben's charitable foundation. Tom recruits Dennis Feinstein, a fragrance mogul and even though he's a jerk, Andy, Tom, and Ben do their best to be nice to him so that he'll donate money. In the end, Andy insults him, Dennis gets really angry, and pulls his donation. When Andy apologizes, Dennis tricks everyone into thinking he'll give Ben's foundation money, but he was just playing a cruel trick. Tom ends up agreeing to donate some money from Rent-a-Swag.
Ron gets sick from hanging out with Diane and her kids. He refuses to see a doctor until he passes out and Ann forces him to come to the hospital. She takes his history, which he gives cryptically and a doctor examines Ron. Ron turns out to have strep throat and low potassium. The doctor prescribes penicillin and Ann gives Ron a banana to eat, which he begrudgingly takes, but only to eat with his burger.
Animal Control needs a new leader, especially after a terrible mishap that left Chris' leg in a cast. Councilman Jamm called "dibs" on one of his dental clients, but Leslie thinks they should really search for the right candidate. When Leslie nominates April, April is forced to go in front of the council and take questions. When things start going downhill, April proposes that the Parks department absorb Animal Control and that she take charge. The council agrees and Leslie considers it a victory.
