Ben and Leslie go up against Bobby Newport’s new and improved campaign manager, Jennifer Barkley. She is able outmaneuver and outwit the both of them every step of the way.

Meanwhile, Ron is urged by Chris to start getting some work done with Leslie on sabbatical or face finding someone to temporarily replace her. With a little help from Ann and April, Ron is able to fix Pawnee’s drinking fountains and get Chris off his back. But not before having to ask April to fill in and take some of Leslie’s responsibilities.
