Andy acted nice toward April's Venezuelan boyfriend this week, which prompted April to get annoyed by him and pretty much send the guy back home.

That positive piece of personal news was the only storyline that deviated from the main focus of "Time Capsule." As the title suggests, the half hour was dedicated toward the Pawnee time capsule, with every staff members placing inside something that relates to the current state of the town.

But a problem arose when a man handcuffed himself to a pipe in Leslie's office unless a copy of Twilight was include in the capsule. Turns out, the guy just wanted to make an impression on his daughter because things were rough for them after his divorce.

This led to a town meeting, in which everyone in town got a say in what they wanted to include... which led to Leslie making multiple time capsules to appease everyone's requests... which led to the realization that the residents may be a bit crazy, but at least they care. As a result, Leslie came up with an idea: only one thing would go inside the time capsule.
