Six years ago, Michael was on a mission to seduce the wife, Cassandra, of the Belorussian leader, Valeri Ovechkin.

Division killed Ovechkin and replaced him with a lookalike that was under their control.

The faux-Ovechkin decided to go rogue with Percy out of the picture.

Michael and Nikita go to Belarus to rescue Cassandra and hit a complication when they find out she has a son, Max.

Alex and Sean go to Belarus after Amanda's initial plan to get Ovechkin fails.

Alex and Sean plan on blowing up Ovechkin in his car, but Cassandra and her son are in the vehicle instead.

At the last moment, Nikita saves Cassandra and Max from the explosion.

Sean kills Ovechkin.

Cassandra lied to Michael about Max's age and Nikita finds out the truth, "Michael is Max's father."
