Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 5 takes a different approach, telling the story in flashback instead of in real-time.

The case of the hour revolves around a body that has been burned almost beyond recognition, except for the skull. The body was chopped up before being burnt, and Raydor believes the crime was personal.

Major Crimes' investigation reveals that the body might have belonged to a gambler named Adrian Silva. Adrian's social media accounts show that he was in Thailand at the time of the murder, but a more careful investigation shows that's fake. Adrian had hired a social media PR firm to handle his social media and that firm was posting the photos.

In the course of the investigation, Sanchez disobeyed an order of Provenza's, causing CPS to think that he still has problems with anger management. The story of what happened comes out gradually as CPS interviews all of Sanchez's co-workers in order to determine whether he is fit to be a foster parent.

Most of Sanchez's co-workers have good things to say about him, but will it be enough for CPS? Watch Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 5 online to find out.
