Law & Order: SVU Season 19 Episode 9 wraps up Noah's kidnapping. When Olivia gets the call that he is missing, she is frantic. She runs to the scene of the crime herself and forces store security to close the mall in the hopes that Noah is still inside even though nobody yet believes he was kidnapped.

Dodds calls and orders Olivia to get off the case, so she leads the investigation from home, where she also spends time comforting a seemingly distraught Sheila. At first the investigation hits a ton of dead ends, including Noah never having boarded a bus that a depot manager claimed to have seen him board. But then the cops catch a break -- and it leads back to Sheila.

Sheila has disappeared and Olivia thinks she's gone permanently, but the search continues and eventually leads to her Hispanic gardener, who was in love with her and believed her lies about Olivia being a poor mother. The cops browbeat him into a confession and the hunt continues.

Olivia finds Sheila, but Sheila gets her gun and rants at her while holding her at gunpoint until Noah wakes up and is happy to see his Mommy.
