Law & Order: SVU Season 17 Episode 16 revolves around the rape of a vlogger at a night club. The vlogger appears to be recording her examination after the rape and records Rollins and Carisi when they interview her. She claims she was raped by the club manager. Dodds' father knows a celebrity, Bobby D'Mico, who was partying with the vlogger.
As the investigation unfolds, Christi reveals that she was raped by both the manager, Noel, and Bobby. Dodds Senior doubts it and Barba says he does not have enough to make a case. Christi posts a video on her blog naming Olivia as one of the detectives and claiming SVU won't help her because Bobby is a celebrity. A commenter states that the exact same thing happened to her and the detectives interview her and find her credible, but Barba still says he does not have the evidence to make a case.
Rollins decides she's had enough of this and goes undercover at the night club. Bobby and Noel try to rape her and she fights them off then arrests them. Mike shows up and says she cannot cuff Bobby because he has a lawyer and she went undercover without permission. Bobby's lawyer threatens to sue.
Barba finally decides to press charges but warns Christi this is going to be tough. She wants to look her accusers in the eye so they go ahead.
The trial is difficult and Buchanan insinuates that Christi made up her rape to get views on her vlog. Barba plans to trick the defendants so that they can admit Rollins' video but Buchanan declines to put them on the stand.
