Ted must choose between three single women at Barney and Robin's wedding, but makes a poor decision. Lily learns that Barney and Robin stole she and Marshall's story of how they met. When their reverend finds out he refuses to do the wedding and cancels the church. Marshall practices how to tell Lily about his new job, but gets upset when he realizes what she does for a living.
