House Details

House is based on the cantankerous, talented doctor, Gregory House.

He's a diagnostician, the very best of his kind. House and a team of less intelligent doctors work on unique, life-threatening diseases at Princeton Plainsboro in New Jersey.

House suffered from a blood clot in his leg many years ago, which has led to a) a limp and b) an addiction to Vicotin. It's also made Dr. House less than friendly, on a day-to-day basis, as he pretty much believes in the worst, most selfish of human nature.

Still, there's a soft side to House. Friends and co-workers, Dr. Wilson and Dr. Cuddy, are typically the ones to bring it out.

House Quotes

The antibodies in yummy mummy only protect the kid for six months, which is why these companies think they can gouge you. They think that you'll spend whatever they ask to keep your kid alive. Want to change things? Prove them wrong. A few hundred parents like you decide they'd rather let their kid die than cough up forty bucks for a vaccination, believe me, prices will drop really fast.

Kutner: You really lost all that money?
Taub: I don't care about the money. I just feel bad for Rachel.
Kutner: She married a guy in one situation and ended up with another. That's hard on anyone.
Taub: Thanks. Makes me feel much better hearing my wife's a gold digger.
