After Amaya boards the jump ship and heads back to Zambesi in 1992 to stop the destruction of her village, the Legends quickly realize she's gone to change the past and that this could be the last anachronism to set Mallus free from his temporal cage.

But things are never as simple as they seem to be because, before the Legends can go stop Amaya, they must first save Barack Obama from Gorilla Grodd after the Darhks send him to take out the future President of the United States. While there, Sara asks Mr. Obama for some advice on how to handle her current situation with Mallus, the Darhks, and the Time Bureau before proceeding to wipe his memory of everything that's just happened to him.

Stopping Grodd leads to Damien joining the Legends' side in the fight against Mallus because his daughter is going to perish should Mallus be set free, but after the Legends decide to let Amaya save her village and set Mallus free, Damien stabs them in the back and tries to stop them from saving Zambesi by unleashing Grodd on the unsuspecting residents.

Meanwhile, Ava deals with the knowledge that she's a clone and confronts Rip about his actions.
