Today on Days of Our Lives ...

Chloe demands proof from Nicole that Victor has always known where Brady is. Nicole explains that she saw on Victor's computer that he's been sending checks to a rehab clinic in Switzerland. She then hired a private investigator and shows her a photo of Brady taken at the clinic.

After Chloe confesses that Brady got hooked on drugs, Victor interrupts and blames his addiction on Chloe. Chloe admits some of her friends got him hooked but adds that she tried to help him. Victor again blames her for her grandson's troubles and tells Philip why he didn't want him to know the truth.

Arrested, Ava warns anyone who will listen that when her father finds out what happened, someone will pay. She warns Abe that her father is going to sue and demands to see her attorney. Abe tells Roman that the cop he had watching Stephanie has reported that she's disappeared.

While Steve and Kayla run out to search for her, Bo and Hope head to the hospital after learning that Chelsea's back there. There, Daniel explains that Chelsea has peritonitis which has done enough damage that she won't be able to have children.

After a knife-wielding Tom forces Stephanie to leave, Max gives chase. He confronts Tom in a building and assures Stephanie that he's not going to harm her or he already would have. Stephanie kicks Tom and he makes his escape while Max and Stephanie embrace.

The police arrive and grab Tom. Steve and Kayla are relieved to see Stephanie is okay. Steve thanks Max for protecting his daughter. While arguing with Abe, Ava suddenly goes into convulsions and collapses.

E.J. advises Sami that tonight will determine whether he stays in the country or not and asks for her help. Nicole interrupts and leaks the news about Brady.
