Recap

A clown has killed fathers in Colorado and Oklahoma. Dylan Wilson, 7, witnessed his father's death and isn't talking. Reid tries to get Dylan to draw him a picture of what he saw. Garcia found three previous similar robberies with doors carved with smiley faces in Colorado. Next the clown kills both parents when the wife tried to intercede, but again spares the children. Each time the unsub cuts the victims' mouths. The clown also has a getaway driver. Three boys break into a cemetery, where they see a clown. But it's not the unsub. The unsub, Sal Capilano, and his driver, Tony Capilano, who are brothers, argue over the killing. Tony wants to head to Florida with his wife Dina and son Mikey. Sal hs gambled away all the money they had gotten for the stolen merchandise. So Sal is planning one more big job. But the homeowner meets them with a shotgun, and he and Sal wrestle for it and it goes off. The owner survived with a shoulder wound, and the Capilanos escape. Dylan said the clown wore denim and smelled like horses. Prentiss suggests they may have come from a circus or rodeo. The rodeo owner said the Capilanos have been banned from rodeos. So they're picking up off-the-books jobs. When Tony is looking for work, Sal in his clown makeup frightens Dina. Then he stalks off after Tony. Sal is killing surrogates for his father. Sal and Tony struggle for the gun Sal had, and Tony threatens to shoot him, but gives it up after he's reminded about his family. Afterward, Tony and Mikey color together. Tony says good-bye to Dina and Mikey. Mikey and Dylan exchange a balloon animal for a drawing.
