Dawson and Otis find a bleeding Herrmann in the stock room and call 911.

Herrmann is brought to Chicago Med and is stabilized, but the next several hours are critical.

Cruz gives Ruzek all the information he knows about Freddie. 

Jimmy questions Chili on not going to the hospital, but she blows him off.

They are called to a house fire and save the family inside.  It blows up with Casey and Dawson still inside, but they are okay and save a woman who may have attempted suicide. 

Cruz goes looking for Freddie where his old gang members live. 

Mouch proposes to Platt in the firehouse and Platt tells him it should be more romantic. 

Herrmann takes a bad turn and develops a respiratory problem. 

The house gets called to a victim stuck on a fire escape who turns out to be Freddie. Cruz goes up to get him and saves him. 

The Med doctors are confused on what's wrong with the woman who attempted suicide.

Herrmann's liver is still bleeding and will require surgery. 

Mouch apologizes to Platt and they officially get engaged. 

Herrmann tells Cruz he doesn't blame him for what happened and then he's rushed to surgery.
