Nucky sacrifices a key asset to Rothstein on the Boardwalk Empire Season 3 finale. Chalky also loses to Rothstein when he learns it was him who set up his arrest. Things get heated between Al and Chalky while Gyp opens up to Gillian. Richard returns to Gillian's house to get Tommy. Masseria joins Rothstein in the heroin business and withdraws his men from Atlantic City. Gyp is killed by one of his own in exchange for Nuck'y mercy. Margaret explores options about her pregnancy and is visited by Nucky who agrees to forgive everything she has done.
