Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 13 revolves around several scams and potential scams.
At a benefit given by the Catholic Church, Frank learns that a guy named Norris used Frank's name and photo without permission to post false testimonials to his charity online. Frank looks into the charity with the help of Sergeant Gormley and finds out that the charity is fake -- it purports to give dying people their last dream but the money goes right into Norris' pocket. Frank meets with Norris and calls him a liar, while Norris keeps trying to pull the wool over his eyes.
Meanwhile, Danny and Maria investigate an apparent suicide that might actually be a murder. They meet a woman named Maggie who claims to be a medium and says she knows for sure that the victim was murdered. Danny doesn't believe this at all, but later Maria invites the woman to the crime scene and the woman says Meredith was hit before she died and hit the man in the cheek -- two things which later turn out to be true. Danny continues to doubt, even after the woman seems to know about Linda.
Jamie and Eddie meet a woman whose son is in distress. When they take him to the hospital, the doctor says the boy is in diabetic shock from not being given his insulin. The mom insists she gave it to him but the doctor doesn't believe her. Jamie and Eddie investigate and find out the woman bought insulin from someone online because she didn't have money for the prescription and the insulin turned out to be fake.
Jamie and Eddie make some arrests and the woman experiences a miracle, while Danny and Maria catch the murderer but a car chase leads to tragic results.
