Recap

On Beauty and the Beast Season 3 Episode 2, after proposing to Cat, Vincent decides to move into her place, but things don't go smoothly when Vincent's beast side starts to come out due to all the changes and stress of moving. Vincent goes to JT to get his advice on the situation and JT assures him that this is perfectly normal and the way Vincent's mind works is primal and he's tapping into the fight or flight gene. Vincent decides to go back to the apartment and surprise Cat, but he gets a surprise himself when he accidentally walks in on Heather taking a shower at the apartment.

Heather tells Vincent her fiance broke up with her and so now she's back in New York, but she doesn't want Cat to know just yet.

Meanwhile, Cat and Vincent get a lead on a new suspect, Alton Finn, who is exhibiting extraordinary abilities such as controlling electricity with his mind. Alton is determined to get the second dose of serum which was going to him, but was given to JT to save his life. Alton basically kidnaps JT and forces him to come up with some kind of serum/cure for him, but Vincent shows up and goes full on beast on Alton until Cat comes storming in and talks both men down from hurting each other.

By the end of the episode, Agent Thomas begs Vincent to find out who is experimenting on people, but before he can reveal everything he knows he's shot in the head and leaves behind for more questions than answers.

Beauty and the Beast Season 3 Episode 2 Quotes

Cat: If we move the couches, then the french doors would be blocked.
Vincent: Yeah, but it's really hard to play video games when the sun's glaring off the screen -- no cast.
Cat: Video games? How loud are these video games because I like to sit out here and do case work. Also, I emptied a drawer for you to put all your bills and your paperwork in, so we can merge all of that stuff too.

JT: Panic attack, fear of commitment -- it's just guy stuff.
Vincent: No, no no; guys do not beast out when they're moving in with their girl.
JT: True, but that's how your primal brain shows fight or flight.
