Coulson and Talbot flee through the snowy woods in their bid to escape from Hale and her Hydra cronies, but a quickly-recovered Ruby soon catches up to them.
Fortunately, Daisy shows up in time to save them. She incapacitates Ruby, but before Ruby can be secured, Hale arrives and critically wounds Deke, forcing them to withdraw.
They return to the Lighthouse, where Coulson discovers that Yo-Yo, Fitz, and Simmons have absconded to parts unknown. With no one else with medical training, they turn to Piper and Mack to help Deke.
Despite some harrowing moments, the duo manage to treat Deke, who ramblingly confesses to his desire to kiss Daisy, but only if she also wants to kiss him, too.
May pulls Coulson aside and calls him out that Daisy isn't ready for his job, and that it's not up to him to just give up before his death because she loves him.
Meanwhile, Fitz, Simmons, and Yo-Yo infiltrate a facility in England where the infusion chamber is being held. Unfortunately, Hydra shows up, too, with a number of mechs being led by Ivanov.
They sneak past them and damage the device, but then they're caught. Yo-Yo fights Ivanov and incapacitates him, and all the mechs drop. Unfortunately, Ruby and von Strucker show up, having rebelled against Hale.
They demand Fitz fixes the device.
Back at the Lighthouse, Daisy arranges for Talbot to have a call with his family. Unbeknownst to her, Talbot's family is being held hostage by Hydra agents, and his wife is forced to activate sleeper programming in Talbot.
