After the missile attack by Cage and the Mountain Men, Clarke is having second thoughts about Lexa's leadership strategy. While Lexa is able to separate her emotions, Clarke can't do the same. Witnessing the fallout from the attack is too much, and she vows to make sure the Mountain Men pay. At Mount Weather, Jasper has taken on the role of leader. He has organized a plan and with a makeshift army, the 100 prisoners are able to take out a number of the Mountain Men. In the process, Fox is captured. Jasper blames himself, since he promised her she would be safe. She is ultimately saved by Bellamy, who is still working with Maya. They take refuge at Maya's family home and Bellamy learns of her mother, who died because she refused to be treated with outsider blood. At Ton DC, Abby finds Kane injured. He is trapped under debris and badly hurt. She confesses that Clarke knew about the attack, but he is not angry or surprised by the revelation. He blames the way the 100 were raised on the Ark, in a community that executed those who stole medicine and food for their family's survival. At Mount Weather, Cage captures Maya and tries to use her as a bargaining chip to get Jasper to surrender. He gives Maya 20 minutes of oxygen, but she will not let Jasper surrender. Instead, they manage to free her through a trash shoot, where Jasper and Bellamy also reunite. The battle is coming, and Bellamy warns Jasper to be ready. The 100 prisoners will be protected by Mount Weather defectors until the time comes to fight. And as Clarke and the Grounder/Sky People army prepares for war, it is safe to say that time is soon.
