Mariana: You know I can take this to HR.
Alex: Oh, so can I. This can be considered sexual harassment. Raj, do you feel harassed?

Alex: I'm curious. Why my boy Raj, hm? Because he's the most eligible bachelor from Pakistan?
Raj: Dude, I'm Indian.
Not everybody is so sensitive. If you want to be a part of the team, you gotta be able to take a joke.

Sumi: We're trying to figure out where to get married.
Alice [in her head]: How about you get married up your stupid little ass?
Alice: A beach would probably be nice.
Callie: Why is Bryan talking to you about me?
Mariana: I don't know. I guess he's just curious about you and Gael
Most of our engineering staff are white guys but who do they cherry pick to put on the front page? A handful of women and people of color.
Mariana
I got sold a bill of goods in my interview, and I'm not going to help perpetuate a lie that this is a female-friendly, diverse workplace.
Mariana
Am I frustrated that I have to work twice as hard to get half as far as white men? Hell yeah, but blowing up your career is not going to change the culture around here, Mariana. You can vent to me anytime, but I would hate for us to lose another talented Latina engineer

Mariana: I feel like I have to tell you something. I overheard Jeff talking on the phone about his wife. He's married, Davia.
Davia: I know.
Mariana: How long have you known?
Davia: Since I sang at their wedding. They're not happy.
Mariana: Are you doing this interview?
Raj: Yeah, we sort of have to.
Mariana: And you're fine with saying how diverse and inclusive the culture is here? Aren't you sick of putting up with people like Alex and Sam? Don't you ever want to say something?
Raj: All the time, but if I do, you know that will just make things worse.
Mariana: Well, you may be able to play that game, but if they want to know what it's like to work here, I'm going to tell them. And if I get fired, at least I had the guts to speak up.
Malika: Why are you doing that?
Alice: Who else is going to do it?
Malika: No one as long as everyone thinks you will.
