Karamo: You know Clarkston all the way.
Ted: Yeah, I can talk about Clarkston all day long
Karamo: But how can you talk about it in a way that’s going to be engaging and exciting?
Ted: Yeah, I definitely need help with that.
[Cut to confessional]
Karamo: He has to understand how to organize his thoughts in a way that come across clear, fun, but also show that he is confident about the work he is doing. And that’s my main job for him.

Lulu: I was experiencing all this anxiety this week, and you know, starting college. And, you know, I’ve been with him every single minute and just everything. And, seriously, when I walked through the door and saw the space. Seriously, when I saw the space, it was just all gone.
Jonathan: Awww!
Lulu: And I know... You know what, I know that he’s going to be okay. [She sobs]
[Cut to confessional]
Bobby: Lulu: I was experiencing all this anxiety this week, and you know, starting college.
Bobby: I know when I get a good tear, it’s legit.

I really wanna take Sean from like a pre-pubescent Justin Bieber into like a world tour-purpose Biebs, except for one that didn’t get canceled and break everyone’s heart.

Jonathan

Antoni: Tell me about some of your musical icons.
Sean: I like to listen to Rod Stewart, Bruce Hornsby.
Karamo: Is there any younger artist you like?
Sean: Umm...
[Cut to confessional]
Karamo: Oh , come on! You don’t know Rihanna? You don’t know Beyonce? You odn’t know Lady Gaga? What 18 year old doesn’t know pop culture?!
[Cut to car]
Sean: Are you gonna get mad if I say Elton John?
All: No!
Jonathan: He’s like our dad almost. Like, he almost like birthed us.

Antoni: Guys, I’m kinda really surprised by how confident he is and comfortable in the kitchen. When he was acting like a bit of a dumb-dumb when we met, and now he like really seems like he knows what he’s doing.
Bobby: I think he was just bull s****** you and making you do it the whole time.
Antoni: Yeah, I think so too.
[Arian plays around with the knife in his hand]
Antoni: Woah! Woah! Woah!
Karamo: Knife tricks! Knife tricks!
Tan: He’s chopped those potatoes beautifully.
Bobby: Yeah, he obviously knows what he’s doing in the kitchen.
Tan: Well done, kid.

Karamo: Do you ever feel physically sick about your parents finding out that you didn’t graduate?
Arian: Oh, yeah, all the time. They sacrificed a lot of their own opportunities for me to have a good bright future.
Karamo: I’m the child of an immigrant. And I’ve heard them say to me, “You have everything. You have this. You better make this opportunity. We gave up this so that you could do it.” That’s a lot of pressure to put on a child. But guess what, this is your journey. This is your life. Design it how you want.

Jonathan: This is how I do it: You put a finger on your Adam’s apple.
Skyler: I don’t have one though.
Jonathan: Oh my gosh!
[He reaches over to touch]
Jonathan: Your vocal box, right here which I can totally feel, that’s hair.
Skyler: That’s little my tiny little Adam’s apple.
Jonathan: Don’t talk about him like that! He is girthy. He is huge!

Karamo: Is there anything on your mind that you want to do?
Skyler: Probably one of the most important things for me right now is my gender marker. It’s still “female” on my license. And now that I’m post-op, I have all the documents that I finally need to be able to go to the DMV and get that taken care and get my gender marker changed to “male.”
Karamo: Got it. See, that’s what I’m talking about.
[Cuts to confessional]
Karamo: Most of us take our IDs for granted; we got it when we were 15 or 16 and we never think about it. But all he wants is just to experience the same life that we all experience. And this one little thing is holding him back. [He holds up card]

Beth: Oh my God!
Jason: I know!
Beth: I actually wanna hang out here now.
Jason: I know! I got some swanky shoes.
[Beth checks him out when he bends over]
Bobby: [From the loft] She just checked out his butt!
[Jonathan makes a face]
Beth: Hey Jason! What’s this?
Jason: Squash.
Beth: So, can I have all this?
Jason: No! How about you come over and we cook together?
Antoni: [From the loft] Look at her looking at him making food.
Jonathan: [From the loft] No, the friendzone is over.
Jason: This is something you’re supposed to eat with your hands.
Beth: Yeah, that’s super good.
[Beth looks at Jason flirtatiously]
Antoni: [From the loft] I should’ve taught him how to make breakfast.

Bobby: Tell us why you nominated Jason.
Beth: He holds my life together.
Jonathan: Awww.
Beth: He does that for a lot of people, and in the process, he doesn’t necessarily make himself a priority.
Jonathan: So Beth, what do you think of this move to Reno?
Beth: I’m still trying to figure out my life in Atlanta is like without Jason. It will be a good place for him to be in the next phase of his life, but other than that, I hate everything about it.

Karamo: What’s your relationship with the other parents?
Leo: Nonexistent.
[They laugh}
Karamo: Why is that?
Leo: I definitely felt that… you know, just the glances sometimes. I’m a bartender. I think people prejudge me; it doesn’t make me feel good. The wife encourages that I call their dad and be like, “Hey, you wanna bring the kid here? Maybe they could play together?” I have a feeling that if I did that, it would probably benefit me and my kids, and why we would be me happy. I want to make more time for them than I don’t right now.
Karamo: Why are you getting emotional?
Leo: Because I love my kids, and I want to be with them.

Tan: Okay, this is literally it.
Karamo: This is the closet? He doesn’t have any clothes, though.
[They open a drawer]
Tan: Oh, hello.
Karamo: Oh, the t-shirts!
[They sift through the shirts]
Tan: Alright, no…. no. Is anything salvageable in here?
Karamo: There’s nothing in here.
[Cuts to Tan confessional]
Tan: Leo has logo tees, logo tees, logo tees, and well… logo tees. He needs help more than most.

Netflix Quotes

Jonathan: I notice a little bit of dryness on your cheek.
Tom: That’s my Lupus.
Jonathan: Okay, let’s talk about that a little. One thing I know about Lupus is that it’s all about SPF. Like, we have to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays because sun actually can cause inflammation and flare ups for people with Lupus.
Tom: Right...
[Cut to Jonathan’s confessional]
Jonathan: How you take care of yourself is how the world sees you, and he’s not taking care of himself.

Bobby: We are about to pull in. What’s our mission today with Tom?
Jonathan: We’re gonna dust off these Christmas ghosts’ pasts of these relationships, we’re gonna sort out his closet, we’re gonna get him cuter, we’re gonna get him looking good, we’re gonna get the house fixed up. We’re ready! We cannot wait. Am I right?
All: Yes!
