Riggs and Murtaugh are taking advantage of some downtime by having a nice dinner. It's good to see them talking, but we're quite curious as to the subject of the conversation.
If we didn't know better we'd think Riggs might have had a little too much to drink, but it looks like he just got caught on the wrong end of a happy partygoer. Murtaugh seems to have the situation under control.
Riggs is probably showing off his skills to Murtaugh who doesn't seem to be that interested. Put him in a bowling alley, and he'd feel much more at home.
Murtaugh: Eighteen years is not nothing. Especially if a person has to live it with you. Riggs: You know sometimes I wonder how long I'm going to be able to put up with you, Roger Murtaugh.
