We see Kitty eight months ago in London, trying to convince Scotland Yard to look at a sex offender in a missing child's case. They ignore her and she runs into Sherlock outside. Joan is worried about Kitty but doesn't believe her boss, Del, is her kidnapper. Sherlock counters that hiring Joan would be a great way to gain inside information about Kitty, himself and Joan. Someone is listening to their conversation via Joan's phone. Del calls Joan and fires her after saying that she's been helpful. The police interrogate Del but have no evidence linking him to Melanie Vilkas murder. Sherlock identifies some women who fit Bruner's profile and Bell finds a woman, Tabitha Laird, who may have once been a potential target of Bruner's. She says it was a misunderstanding. Bruner even awarded her son a scholarship so he could attend a private school. Kitty pretends to leave New York, while remaining in the city to spy on Del. Joan confronts Del at a fundraiser and he gets visibly upset when he mentions Tabitha Laird. Meanwhile Kitty mixes up a batch of nutmeg concoction to dissolve a body. Will Kitty go through with killing Del? Or will Sherlock and Joan find a way to arrest him before Kitty takes drastic action? Watch Elementary Season Episode 12 to find out.
