I really think Alicia's Mom is going to throw a monkey wrench into the equation. Does she dislike Peter? She is asking him to let Alicia go; because she can't keep a husband is no reason to wish the same fate on her daughter. She is coming to ask Alicia for legal help and trying to destroy her daugher's marriage. Great Mom.......
