There's something very Stephenie Meyer about her.
sweetheart, I'm sorry but that's not some, She is copying her and it is a very stupid decision to copy someone as untalented as Stephanie Meyer. I don't understand the hype towards the writing garbage she had written. I don't see any quality nor depth in it, her writing seems like it is from a sex depraved teenage girl who can't get laid to save her life. The only reason most people like it is because that's the only type of writing they can understand. The twilight demographic fanbase are usually people who are uneducated/mentally challenged or plain/bland typical normal joes/janes. I don't mean to offend anybody but that's how I have been seeing on the internet and in real life.
The only reason most people like it is because that's the only type of writing they can understand.
To be exact, they like it because its "wish fulfilment" fiction - they replace the main character who has no personality with THEMSELVES and fangirl away over how awesome they are.
"It's exciting and it's thrilling and it's not particularly threatening, because they're not overtly sexual. A lot of the physical side of it is conveyed in things like the vampire will touch her forearm or run a hand over skin, and she just flushes all hot and cold. And for girls, that's a shorthand for all the feelings that they're not ready to deal with yet."
- Stephen King
lol ^^ this
Julie was probably calling Bonnie strong and beautiful to not appear racist, as accused of doing so because of Bonnie's screentime and endless messages about it.
Matt Davis was not racist about the remark but trying to point out that Julie wasn't racist. As Kat is both black and has Jewish descent, he is merely pointing out that people are always looking to bring up race issues into arguments when it is not needed. I am of black origin and a Bonnie fan but am in no way offended by this remark. Certain fans point out that black people should be offended by Bonnie's screentime because of her colour, then Jews should be too, as she is of Jewish origin. But this is not the case. All out of context. I want Bonnie to have a bigger role on the show, but they need to involve her character more.
However, Matt's comments regarding a fan's death was uncalled for. He should have ignored any messages that were getting on his nerves.
I don't think his comments about the death thing was "uncalled for". It was totally unprofesional, but fans should simply not to make themselves and their DEAD loved ones famous by asking actual famous people to make them so. To me, it shows a total lack of respect towards the deseased, and the people doing it, should be aware!
Fans simply alluded to a concern they had with Kat. It dealt with representation of the media. This also involves television. When Matt made the statement, he chose to zero in on a specific group of people and treat the complaint as a trivial observation not worthy of the writers' time on TVD. Perhaps some are not aware of the underlining implications, but some insensitive people in society often excuse matters of race as if it is a myth from a childbook fairytale. That alone, is offensive considering the sordid history of this country.
And whether some chose not to be offended or not, Matt lacked the professionalism to keep his d-bag mouth shut. It would have been helpful if he had demonstrated restraint since his mouth precludes any possible intellect he could possibly exercise in his brain.
Nothing he said was justifiable....PERIOD
*And whether some chose to be offended or not...
Oh Lord! What's become of this show.. The Staff should be sensitive enough to avoid getting into such squabbles, dont they have PR or something! Totally riddiculous behaviour on their part! Matt Davis sounds like the ultimate douche! How tactless and stupid on his part, maybe he just wanted to spark controversy as usual but this is going too far!!.. JP has become totally unproffessional, she should grow a thicker skin and learn to take critique, and also be aware that such outbursts are detrimental to her show and fans are starting to lose respect.. Grow up people!!
^THIS. I do NOT care how many people try to make lame ass excuses for his behavior, it was unprofessional.
at least Marlene King is being professional on Twitter when fans attacked her on the season 2 finale of PLL unlike some other fat ass who cannot take a hint that her writing sucks balls
