It would just be a kick in the balls to completely get rid of them and considering both characters are separately fan favorites, with a huge following, it's not exactly unlikable they'd still have a go at klaroline.

ugh she's just focusing on Stefan's and Tyler's manpain atm (although Tyler's is understandable).
You know the show is having serious issues when it spends most of the non-triangle time on Tyler. lol

- I think I'm gonna buy DISH.
- I am very intrigued by Camille, it sounds like she could really have a positive influence on Klaus. A coworker at DISH and I have been discussing whether or not she will be similar to Elena. But with this being the spin off, I am sure they will attempt to make it uniquely different from the Vampire Diaries. I am very excited about the potential for the this show, and I am glad I won’t miss it’s pilot with my DISH Hopper. I work a lot of late nights, so I always make sure my favorite shows are recording so I don’t miss anything. I never have to worry about space with 2,000 hours of storage space, and it really helps that I can fast forward through commercials on my recordings. Klaus is still a mystery in many ways, so I am interested to see if Camille can reveal any of his secrets.

^Yep. I think most people started hating Car at the beginning of season 4 when it became clear that she wouldn't fall in line with DE. Making her Stefan's personal cheerleader did not help matters. Just another way of turning a potential epic storyline into triangle rubbish. Plec could have and should have made Car's reluctance to the relationship be about her past dealings with Damon and NOT about her shipping "EPIC" SE love. Just another way of not "dirtying" the triangle beyond repair. Talk about making the girl look like a typical blond. How dare she have a problem with the guy who used her as a blood bag and compelled fuck buddy being with her bestie! How dare her get in the way of their EPIC love with such valid reasons! How dare her!
