     WAIT THO HOW IS BANGEL ENDGAME?

     If to go by tv shows - Its not. Buffy pretty much went "I won't choose or commit now because that's a serious decision and I did not even finish finding my place in the world yet".  In a way you could say she manipulated both Spike and Angel, in order to avoid choice, by saying right things to each of them. 

     Going bo both shows - Buffy and Angel have been living separate lives, with dtheir own love interests and problems. Angel moved on from Buffy after her death, remember?("I thought loosing her would be the end of the world, but life goes on" or something like that) Both he and Spike DID remain obsessed with her but there was an entire episode dedicated to make them realize they don't "OWN" her.

     If to go by comics, bangel is pretty much dead forever. 

     Whedon does not give a crap about pairings, what you want to see(except  Spike) or what makes you happy. He writes whatever the fuck he wants. 

      

     If I'd have to select one endgame for buffy its Buffy/herself

     The only ways I see BTVS endings is either Buffy left alone with no one by her side or Buffy dead.

     Can we please stop comparing Julie Plec to Joss Whedon? Plec herself may think she's the new Whedon, but their writing and their motivations for it are nothing alike. Plec likes:

     • Naked men
     • Living her fantasies through her shows
     • Catering to crazy internet fans

      

     See? Whatever she does with TVD/its spinoff has nothing to do with Whedon's Buffy/Angel. People need to stop saying "she'll do this because Whedon did that" and speculating that certain things are going to happen in TVD/spinoff because they happened in BTVS/Angel.
