Caroline got really suspicious because she heard the phone call between Klaus and Tyler. I think.
@Halde I liked that Elena killed Connor and I agree with you that it was really good until she started crying about it. But I'm still glad that the kill was caused by her anger and her need to protect Jeremy and not because she was hungry.
@Halde, I am not going to watch the trainwreck, but I am sure you are wrong, because by your definition even Bella Swan is "awesome and badass" just because she killed some people after turning. Sorry, nope.
How much fail are Hayley and Tyler? Or rather, how much fail is this writing. Sure the guy was sired, but have they ever heard of holding someone hostage? Or creating a DISTRACTION? All they did was go "nooooooooo u can't go scroo klausssss" and then he's like "klaus da best" Walks out, gets killed, and then they sob for 30 seconds. I refuse to believe there was no other way to stop that hybrid. If Stefan was able to blow off a hybrid's head, then Tyler should have been able to distract one. These hybrids ARE vulnerable, but you have to hold them down before attempting to de-sire them.
She was suspicious the second she met her,the phone call just fuelled her suspicions.
lol the hybrids are the wrost sl, and now it being used to make Tyler heroic lalala.
i don't even know why they are trying to make Ty-Ty heroic now,it should've been done is s3 but they sent him away and now no one cares.1 season too late show,1 season too late.
It was not so much the killing part. It was the splitting from the Salvators part. The not-sitting-back-frowning-part. I don't like Elena's character. She was likeable this episode, and if this is the direction the rest of the season is taking, i might even watch the shit "for real" again. The killing scene was pretty well executed. The aftermath of the killing was bad. If Elena is going to be sorry and sad for the next couple of episodes, I was obviously mistaken about this :)
@Halde, I feel exactly the same way, I think everyone could've done with that burrying scene, JP's has issues with keeping Elena a saint, but her going against the brothers, for real is what made her character more enjoyable this episode.
Apparently Elena hallucinates in the next episode, as a consequence for killing a hunter. I think Katherine just makes a small appearance during one of these hallucinations. It's just a carrot they dangle to get the ratings.
Interestingly enough, this season's ratings have been consistently stronger than s3's from the premiere and the cliffhangers this season haven't even been that great. I really think if the writers keep focused on what they planned and don't get sidetracked by their love for new characters or actors, s4 can atleast capture a small essence of s2 TVD, which IMO was still great.
I found a review of this episode that was awesome. :D If you want to read it, here is the link: http://12-12-12.livejournal.com/
@Bored Now: Why don't you read the recaps of the episodes? That way you know what happened and you can have your own opinion about it. :)

Bella never killed anyone. She was tempted twice but since she is a super special vampire she was able to resist.
Seriously, even kitty trolls at the emoville website
