GP was great. I love the Tyklaus and Caroline scenes. And yay to evil Klaus again. D/E/S was boring as always. Matt whines too much and Rebekah is annoying. Thank god for Klaus and Caroline.

I liked this episode, A LOT ! Defenitely tuning in next week. The atmosphere felt season 1 again. Very good acting from Nina, she nailed this episode. (that scene with Stefan) and I also liked the editing to Damon's "I love you, Elena.'' scene. It was pretty cool. The effects of hightened-senses too...Damn, it was a good one. Now I have hope, I really do.

And LOL, give it a break, this wasn't "Let's save Vampire Elena", don't take things out of context. She WAS in transition, and they were freaked out and had 24 hours to try to avoid her turning, which with no surprise, was a big fail. And no, Bonnie's grandma' was not the only aspect of the spirits' wrath, I think...And what the hell happened at the end? O_o Again totally watching next week, what apprently will be one of the best episodes.

  4. Just saw Elena's "turning scenes" on youtube, well folks, Kristen Stewart now have some SERIOUS competition in laughably wooden acting cattegory.

So bassically - you just confirmed that she YET again was a helpless damsel in distress used to bring two male leads  into forefront AGAIN, in usual fashion of sexism in TVD? Good to know.

And no, Bonnie's grandma' was not the only aspect of the spirits' wrath, I think...

Really? because after 3 seasons of absolutely no consequences to anything in this show that would be a friggin surprise.

  7. From what I am hearing this was a typical TVD filler episode:

    1. Random extra redshirt hunters come in only to die within the same ep.
    2. Elena is in trouble...AGAIN.
    3. Everyone is risking their lives to save the bitch for no reason.
    4.  Bonnie acts as plot device.
    5. Everyone survives and nothing changes as if the episode did not even happen.

If that was seriously this episode's plot then its S3 all over again where EVERY episode minus the VERy end of finale could be cut out and nothing would change.

What else could've been a possible scenario for someone, who's not wanting to be a vampire and who is in transition? They ignore her? It's your choice, feed or die? lol At least they tried. Even if it was damsel distress like, she's a vampire now. I have hopes xD

I have to agree with this, the episode felt a little filler-ish. But I think it just sets out the way for upcoming new plots this season. And I kinda had this feeling in every premiere this fall. O_o

Except that apart from a random emo breakdown in the end of S2, we never ever ever ever saw anything to make us believe that, nor we have any reason to care about miss bella swan in any way at all

     and who is in transition?

how about actually act like a realistic person and DO SOMETHING instead of being a perfect flawless mary sue that everyone loves and everyone constantly saves. Nope, thank you but nope.

Even if it was damsel distress like, she's a vampire now.

Considering how "useful" and "awesome" Katherine is(read: she is neither of those things) in the latest two seasons, that means jack shit.

And yay what a great message for a show - for a woman to be in ANYWAY way capable or independent or in any way interesting, she has to die and turn into a monster.  Talk about misogyny.

Also sorry, its three seasons to late. All majority of us here want from Elena now is to see a macabre and gruesome and PERMANENT death of Bella Swan of TV Shows, which frankly will never ever happen with the ammounts of plot  armor every single character has in this show.

But I think it just sets out the way for upcoming new plots this season.

Plots that, just like in previous two seasons,  will not matter in any way and will do nothing, but be forgotten after writers get excited about the "next big thing" they pull out of their asses? Yawn.
