     No you're not the only one. It's all the same Elena has PTSD and Damon is misunderstood rapist, Klaus is a pansy with daddy problems, Caroline is moral compass and Forwood is the realistic couple yada yada yada. *yawn*

     Seriously, haven't seen worse constructed arguments in my life.

     Well I, atleast, HAVE arguments and they make sense, unlike *cough*yours. 

      

      All I have to say is..so Kol is dead...dafuq did he die on us?I would have gladly throwed a party and invited everyone I know for Elena's bbye party.Dafuq is wrong with them :|Frankly I would not be surprised on if they killed Caroline. Plec hates her and gave her no storylines for seasons upon seasons since S2, so, meh.

     Thining out the herd theoretically is GOOD, but its nigh impossible to do in the show where no character is even remotely interesting or likeable.

     S1-Elena did have symptoms of cptsd and it was clearly being built up towards that, till the show decided to throw everything out of the window. S2-onward Elena is just plain bad character period, same with Damon and Klaus. 

     And Caroline IS the moral compass. That's the poinf of her build up.

      

     And forwood IS realistic, simply because they do not have all the stupid "DAAAARK'' bullshit CW trainwrecks are filled with nowadays. Just two people helping each other and loving each other.
