    i hope it goes on till season 10 with the same people as now and think some of should be derek and meredith finally have a baby and lexie and mark get marry and start a family and izzie comes back to alex that would great here hoping for more greys

    1. theres most def gonna be a season 8
    2. ellen pompeo (m. grey) and patrick dempsey ( d. shepherd) contracts will expire after season 8....they have stated that they most likely wont renew

    So the real question is can there be a greys anatomy without meredith and derek??

    I am from Saudi Arabia, love the series too, but I'm sad I can not see from this wonderful siteI hope that there are 15 seasons, the Best American series

    I don't think Grey's Anatomy will be able to survive without Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) and Patrick Dempsey (Derek Shepherd).

    OMH, What i am dying to know is whether or not Ellen Pompeo is leaving the show? If yes i will stop watching this show because what is the show if Meredith Grey is no longer there? Love Grey's to bits it's super awesome and merder rocks!

    There's been a lot of talk that both Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey will be leaving after the eighth season. But personally, I can't imagine the show without them either. I need MerDer in Grey's!

    I know that I have heard also that Ellen and Patrick are leaving after season 8. I also know that I love this show way way way too much to stop watching, so yes I will watch without Mer/Der, and yes I think it will survivie without them...Sadly the majority of the storylines haven't REALLY revolved around them TOO much this season...
