  1. Dare to Dair?

    @Chris- the only positive thing about Serena having feelings for Dan again is when she finally realize that she lost him. I got really disappointed when she stringing him along for so long, that is why I am happy that this time Dan is not in love with her.

     

    It's sad really because it's hard to watch the one you love, love someone else.

    *Especially since he was SOOOOOOOO upset when Serena didn’t tell him something about her life. -I  always see Serena as Dan's first love. He puts her in a high pedestal. so, After discovering that Serena was not all that, he really got disappointed hence, judgmental. Dan was, at that time, young and naive. with age, he became mature and had a different view on love. to be honest, he views love as unconditional otherwise, he would not put Blair's happiness first. It's great that before he started having feelings for her, they were friends. He knows who she is and what she has done. Blair never made excuses about who she is and dan accepts that.

    I find that post by a chair fan in the dair tags laughable because:

     

    *In the hyphothetical case that those two find a way to get together..did any of you think that, yeah, maybe Dan can make Blair happier than Chuck and Louis and everybody, but what about the other way around?- A chair fan admits that Dan makes Blair happier than Chuck and louis. The healthiest relationship Blair ever had is with Dan and that relationship is classified as friendship! If they ever get together, I think Blair and Dan would have that kind of relationship that would be the healthiest and more mature one that GG has ever done. Will Blair make Dan happy? This is up for debate. In my honest opinion, she will. Blair, behind that strong exterior, is the type of person who is a romantic deep inside.

     

     

    *She is manipulative, a scheming person who likes to play with everybody to get away with her wants and needs..what would happen with Dan in that case?

    - this chair fan only sees Blair as a manipulative person. She does not see the different sides of blair. she is not one dimensional. she is strong, loyal and loving. she may have an evil side to her but at times she shows how pure her heart is when it comes to love and friendship. She has to create this facade that she is bitchy and strong to hide her vulnerability and insecurity. Yet, for the past few episodes, we can see how open and honest she is to Dan. I love how Dan brings out the best in Blair. Also, i love them scheming together. It's a lot of fun!

    Not so unpopular opinion

    Okay, i think nobody will pay me attention in this, but here we go.

    As most people know, I am a Chair shipper, and I personally think that Dan and Blair have nothing to do with each other, but I have an opinion about them.

    In the hyphothetical case that those two find a way to get together..did any of you think that, yeah, maybe Dan can make Blair happier than Chuck and Louis and everybody, but what about the other way around?

    She is manipulative, a scheming person who likes to play with everybody to get away with her wants and needs..what would happen with Dan in that case?

    Especially since he was SOOOOOOOO upset when Serena didn’t tell him something about her life. 

    That’s why I believe that Chuck and Blair are made for each other, they both like to play with people and they both know that well. Dan would be only a victim of Blair games and you can’t do anything about that.

    Hi! I just got home from a long vacation and only got to watch the episode last night. All in all, I can honestly say that I fell in love with Dan all over again. The way he impliedly tells Blair that he loves her was really sweet. I just want to slap Blair to wake her and see what we've been seeing all along.

    Hi! Headbands?! LMFAO. If that is her primary reason for hating Dan, she should think about the million times chuck hurt Blair. 

     

    As for the spoiler of moving in together, I hope its not for 1 episode only. She should stay there for a lot longer. Then, she will see that Dan's feelings for her is, as depicted in the book, not purely fiction :)

    I don't think that the book SL is totally over. It maybe over for now and will eventually be resurrected when the right time comes.
