Welll...Buffy fucked up the world again. Good job! Now we have invulnerable sun-resistant vampires by default. Good job! Dawn came back but is quite...weird. The First Vampire is dead Simone is dead Severin is dead. Illyria is dead. Oh and Giles's Vampyr book is now COMPLETELY EMPTY??? Oh and by the way, Dawn might hate Xander now...or Dawn might not really be Dawn.
"not darker than season six" my ass.
Still not okay that Declan(despite now having actual storyline) while buttface Aiden survived(despite ruining the show). Jack now had everyone around him die, even his own fucking dog.
Oh well, at least S3 sounds better and better right now and they earned MAJOR bonus points by doing the promo in same style and Damages Season Five promo was done.
Also apparantly there are rumours that Emily kills Conrad in the premiere by poisoning his drink or whatever.
Oh well, still seeing a darker Emily, off-the-rails Nolan and the return to the classic Revenge style far outweighs the possibility of Buttface still living(although I am betting he will be the one to kill Emily).
Cheshire Cat is voiced by freaking KEITH DAVID.
At best they interacted, but I doubt they did romantically.
he was far too obsessed with Milla for that.
OT: Lost Girl (hello to kickassery, buffyisms. as well as preogressive outlook towards sexuality, gender and race)
I am reading all the laubo comments and can't stop laughing. THey make it sound like second coming of jesus christ.
The mermaids had fangs and ate the sailors basically, after luring them off the boats with singing
although they added a bit of sirens iwth that bit, its quite accurate.
The mythological mermaids did not "lure men"(that would be sirens), but instead would distract sailors with their voices(and their appearances), causing the ships to crash and drowning the survivors by dragging them down to the depths. Other tales have mermen/mermaids dragging the unaware humans, who were walking down the shore, to their deaths
Finnish/norse mermaids/mermen were tricksters who would offer deals, brew potions, lift and place curses, etc and in most of Finnish mythos, mermaids/mermen are neutral chaotic figures who offer some kind of a deal, with certain conditions to not be broken, which, if broken, can cause destruction of whole cities, as repercussion. AT the same time, they are also known to warn sailors of storms and dangers, protecting their ships, foretelling the future to them and warning them of impending deaths.
