@ RedOktober ------------------- I really liked that she didn't choose, because her relationships with the two of them were so different and also, she was practically two different people when she was involved with them, if that makes sense. Also, I liked that she could end up with someone completely new, it didn't have to be either Angel or Spike. She was right, she wasn't done baking. She was only 22 and didn't need to be thinking about who she was going to spend the rest of her life with and worrying about not having a boyfriend. I actually found the whole thing pretty empowering. After all, BTVS was always meant to be a feminist show and I think they held to that by having her end up single, but feeling ok with being single.
i don't like all this twinflame and soulmates stuff. its just too cheesy. i'm glad that, so far, the show seems to be ignoring it. why things like chemistry and compatibility have to be turned into something all mystical and guided by fate etc i don't know.
I don't believe she was ever in love with him like she was with Angel but damn did they have chemistry! Also, I never really liked Angel that much. He was much too intensely broody (not at all my type)and not as well developed a character as Spike. Plus, I like the peroxide blonde hair...
dark-side stefan and katherine would make a great couple. thats my season 3 hope.
and i hope that she'll still be around when/if elena turns. elena could temporarily go a bit bad and struggle to control her desire for blood. then i bet she and katherine would be a lot of fun to watch.
i think katherine is great, but they did lose a bit of direction with her. like, very near the beginning of the season, we saw flashbacks showing how she didn't compel stefan's love for her and how he genuinely had feelings for her and then that thread of the storyline never got followed up. as for the worst character - matt. bring back his mother for some "real life" drama. whats her name? i can only think of her as julie cooper from the oc.
