why do you even havs school at this time, dearie? Is it really a german thing that keeping fun times on a minimum scale? Oh my darline, I cant believe you're still going to school at this day.
DON'T ASK ME. bavarian school is the hardest in europe, and it thinks having graduated in another state is shit, you can't get a job here. fucking bavarians....
actually, we kinda have more freetime than american students, we have more random holidays
and wHY DID YOU HAVE TO POST PRIM X KATNISS?
Elena! don't rub it in ;-). but for realz you guys are making me miss school (unbelievable). i remember i used to study just a week or a day before the exams and the rest of the time i used to do whatever i wanted like spending more than a couple of hrs a day on this fandom unlike now (good times)...all i am saying is enjoy it guys adult life is great but being in school also has its perks, trust me :-)
dude, i'm just happy i have holidays. we gerrmans are lucky, school ends at 1 pm here
last day of school, FUCK YEAH!
Lol! My name's Sam actually. There's also this thing with jealousy and possessiveness. I think its cute. Really I do. It can even be funny and swoon worthy...to a point. Its like with these popular authors there's a disturbing level of craving to be needed and desired. Staring outside someone's window while they sleep? Ick. Slamming someone onto the bed (I'm guessing its because they are jealous of other lover?) Ew. And these girls don't even call them to order! And also, where are the jealous heroines? How often does a girl mark her territory with a guy? We all know you have to do that in real life sometimes. When you gotta give that sleazy bitch who's flaunting themselves at your partner that "don't even" look. Where's that? Possessiveness and jealousy is only a masculine trait apparently. Or perhaps a good heroine is above that
oh, it's there, but you see, it is described as bad, whereas male can do all they want with their girlfriend.
But you see, most of the cases you listed, minus the very first which I loved, is that it still has the same roles.
wait, so you read the arcadia trilogy? kai meyer was in my school and mentioned all the sexist bullshit teenagers read today and he said if one of his book ever get made into a movie, he'll drink himself to death, ajsdkasd<3
if you have read it, do you know there are some people who ship rosa with her rapist? i'm not kidding, i have those assholes in my class.
MI still has the men characters completely overshadow the moral compass and blah blah blah of supposed main character and let's not even get started on hunger games and the problems I have with those books.
tbqh, i was reading tmi: city of bones for the supposed big moment when clary realizes who her father is. but they only shared one fucking scene and it was all about jace. and the next book will be about clary's brother and it'll be about jace, again. smh
imo, the hunger games > catching fire > mockingjay
@KatherinePierce...(woah, your name's quite long) i read the host a few months ago, just out of curiosity, and man... that is just ... wow. i haven't read everything, but the parts i read were: 1. heroine cries. 2. love interest hits her and tries to kill her. 3. other love interest literally slams her onto the bed and is all "but wat bout mehh?" (idek what the fuck they were talking about, but the chick was crying again, man)
nope, nope, noooope.
i've actually gotten a worse mark on a story in english because of stuff like that.
and on tv, hmmmm
this awesome bitch
