OMG the show was so lame last night...I can't believe what they are doing to Dan... How creepy was that scene with Nate making out with a 16 years old girl in front of Chuck. How come suddenly Bart Bass is the devil with fire behing him (I mean WTF) and wants Dan to be with him??? The breakfast club was reunited for one scene, the one where Nate(the guy who should go to jail) punches Dan. other then that, nothing new, nothing interesting, and Chuck tried to get himself wasted like he always does. Refusing Blair in the hotel = OUCH! The only good thing about this episode, we got to see the tipical like father like son with Bart hurting physically Lily.
Charisma : At the end...Gilmore girls was really confusing. I sincerly had no idea where it was going with the whole, I'm skipping college then I'm not, I'm in jail than I'm not, I'm ok with my sexual relationship with Logan than I'm not drama. And Loreila...Argh...Refusing to marry Luke...Of all person...What the hell?
There are millions of things I don't understand this season. Like :
1-Why care so much about Dan and Blair when the writers threw it in our face last season that these 2 were over for good??? I mean what's the point? We all know they aren't going to be together...
2-Why make Dan such an evil guy? Why make Dan important AT ALL? And why comparing him to Chuck? The last time I checked, Dan hasn't hurt physically or tried to rape any ladies...But hey maybe we will get that by the end of the season since the main plot this season is : DESTROY DAN
3-Why not focusing on good old fun times when Chuck/Blair/Nate/Serena were the evil team ruling on Manhattan? I mean... that will get some viewers, even I would be happy to see the group reunited.
4.Why making Bart's story so important? Why is Ivy so important? Just skip it already...Boring
5. Blair and Chuck...Come on...Let's just put them together already
6. Blair should have more self confidence. She doesn't have any and her storyline is overall pathetic this season...She mentionned again last week that she only wanted the company to succed to get together with Chuck as fast as possible. She accused Serena of ploting against her at the first doubt and she made a foul of herself with teenage girls ...
unfortunately...I feel a lot of good shows are ending pass their due date. For exemple ;
Dawson's creek should have ended before college *season 4*
Gilmore girls should have ended before Rory dropped out of college *season 3*
The OC should have ended before Marissa died *season 3*
See my point here?
I am...I wish last season was the last and the few last episodes never happened.
wow I'm actually really surprised. The Chair fanbase is not happy either. Actually they are pissed. The fact that there is 5 episodes left and they don't even get a relationship is upsetting them too. And why bringing Dair over and over again but then be like : they are over for good....it should be like the Nair story, un-excistent. And actually since they made up their mind about who should be with who, why couldn't the season be about Blair-Serena-Nate-Chuck friendship with Blair with Chuck and Serena with Nate and Dan forever alone. I mean isn't it what they were saying when season 5 ended????
I didn't get the last episode. I didn't get that Blair and Dan seemed completely fine until the video came on. That video is old and was taking at a time when Blair passed all her free time with Chuck and not any of her time with her BF Dan. I mean blaming Dan for thinking it was over is aweful. Especially since he received a message saying Blair was going to Chuck and therefore choosing him*WHICH SHE WAS* and what the hell with the rules of being over and having sex before and after or saying I love you before or after you break up. Chuck couldn't wait for Blair 5 minutes at the top of the empire state building and got in bed with a teenager almost immediatly. Comparing these two things is wrong and just mean from the writers. Now I'm happy with the way some triangle ended but this one doesn't even have decency. I mean bringing Dair over and over again is wrong because moving on means getting over the relationship and talk about something else. Blair and Chuck not being able to be together while achieving their dreams means they are not a real couple and could never be. If you can't be facing obstacles together then you ARE NOTHING.
Just watched this past episode Dan and Blair scene and I want to say this : the writers are apparently high school teenagers who are angry at us for...loving Dair??? . The writers are trying so hard to humiliate Dair that it proves how much they were meant to be. Dawson and Joey had a happy finale and moved on, Dair apparently can't move, and I mean it for the both of them.BOTH OF THEM
Elise, sorry to correct you, but I didn't talk about Dair in my thread. I just talked about the fact that I'm amazed by the cruelty Chuck did to Blair and she keeps forgiving him. Of course she shouldn't go back to Dan, he slept with another girl !(btw, totally realistic to think Dan, after waitting for Blair for a year, would get drunk and cheat on her in a flash) . But that doesn't mean she needs to go back to that bastard? does it? Is there anyone else on the planet that would threat her better?
Just a parrallele here (my bad), but to see the amount of Chuck's fan after he forced himself on Blair in season 4 is outrageous. I know this is a show, but what does it tell you about our generation? If you are meant to be he can do anything to you?
