Hawaii Five-0 Review: ...Or Die Trying

@Jschoi....I think you are right, Kono is going to get into trouble at some point because of Adam. We know the team will help her out, but I am glad that they are showing her not being fooled and blind to what may be going on. @Joanna....I hope they don't kill Adam off at some point, although thats where they might be going. I don't know yet if he's really good and trying to change, or if he is going to the dark side with his brother. I like Adam, but it would be boring if everything went smoothly for Kono. I'm just happy both and Chin and Kono have continuing storylines. I love Steve and Danny, but we need a little more of these two thrown in.

Hawaii Five-0 Review: ...Or Die Trying

(cont.) I like the action, I know there will be those that will complain, "its not original", but name one thing that has not been done in a TV show or movie in the past 60 or so years. Kono and Adam are getting more interesting. Kono tracking his phone to see what he's up to shows she's not going to just let Adam do whatever, and I hope they don't take too long before we find out what Adam's brother did with Kono's gun. We get another new episode tonight which is exciting, but that means not as many left for the rest of the season, which means a lot of reruns over the remaining 4 months. After tonight only 10 episodes left.

Hawaii Five-0 Review: ...Or Die Trying

Realism never bothers me. There were a lot of things I could have pointed out, but then the riot would not have lasted very long, Chin would not have met the nurse and have a possible future love interest, and the team would not have been able to fly Kamekona's chopper into the prison yard to resuce Chin while Sang Min escapes to show up in another episode. I don't think any of us would have liked the show had all of that not happened, I want to be entertained and I was. I was happy to see DDK get an episode where he could show his talents. Thanks Walter for suggesting the other 2 Baldwin brothers come and get their revenge on the 5-0 team. I would like to see that. Still hoping we see Tom Selleck as well. I'm glad to see that they mentioned that Chin was getting help with his grief, and it would be totally in character for him to hide it from his team. I thought they handled that well, I was starting to wonder if they were going to show him care at all that Malia was killed. I like the action things that they are doing, I know there will be those who will complain, "it's not original". Not much can be with all the TV and Movies that have been done in the 60 or so past years. (cont.)

Hawaii Five-0 Review: I Want It That Way

I voted for the boss, and I'm on the west coast, where the student was the ending. I haven't looked at the other endings as yet, but will. I think it was kind of fun to do this. I don't want it every week, but once a season would not be bad. As for the episode, I liked it. I too was happy to see Sang Min back, and he did show some human traits before regarding his wife and son. I believe it was in season one, when they let him out briefly, then they took him to see his son at either a school or park, where he watched from the car. Loved the ending of that part, I know he is one of the bad guys, but I do feel for him. Kono got to handle things all by herself.
Loved the nephew, who was Danny's sister's son as Mrs. Cleaver said. I hope he comes around again some time. I would love to see the rest of Danny's East Coast family at some point. I'm enjoying this season very much.

Blue Bloods Review: The Highway Hitman

I thought this was a very good episode. The case was good, still don't get the reasoning of people who want to save the earth and then go out and kill people. That's a contradiction to me. I thought Erin being the calm head was expected, and although there was nothing she did wrong, I could see how she felt guilty. It's just human nature. My only complaint is why did we not see the jerk who ran Sean over, at the very least get charge with reckless bicycling or whatever other charge they could come up with. Just cause you're on bike does not mean you don't have to follow some rules. I too love the family dinners. I'm not a particularly religious person, but I like the way this show, shows people of faith not being radical and struggling at times to believe in their own beliefs. I hope this show lasts for a long time.

Hawaii Five-0 Review: A Pot Luck Christmas

(cont.) the plot was good, loved seeing Catherine back, they gave her a rest, and may give her more if she is going off leave. Loved her kick butt, I read Michelle has been taking lessons 3 times a week to do her own martial arts moves. I think she did good. Steve is a little clueless as a boyfriend, but made up for it at the end. Anytime we get to see Alex in tux is a plus. They are showing them more as a couple, but I'm we will get the rocky part later on when Steve finds out Catherine kept something from him about his Mom. The kid did a good job. His attitude was what I would imagine Steve being at his age. I would give it a 4.2. I wonder how many repeats now.

I hope we see George Takei again, he did a great job as a moon shine uncle, but as far the amount of time, I thought it was appropriate for the episode. They can have him pop up again. Kono was in a lot in last several episodes, so it was someone else's turn. I love Grace Park, but come on people, Steve is the main character. I agree we needed more Kono and Chin, and we have gotten more Kono this season, as for Chin he had a couple of episodes, and I'm sure there will be more, be patient. I would love to see a three hour program every Monday, so we get to see all of them for a long time, but its not going to happen. I saw the helicopter from Magnum PI also. I would love to see Tom Selleck come back for an episode, his show I watch and is on CBS so there is no network conflict. I'd love to see an older Magnum, but would even like to see him as maybe Catherine's father, seeing him react to Steve as her boyfriend. (cont.)

Hawaii Five-0 Review: Armed Gunman Survival Badge

(cont.) As for the other story, I loved seeing Steve with the kids. Alex's love for children shows through, as does Danny. Grace has had a lot of time this season as well and I hope this continues. Loved seeing Grace be the one who crawls through the tunnel. The girl who played Lucy was wonderful, it was heartbreaking watching her cry when Ron said she was going with him.
I think Steve should have and did show more caution with a child there. If something happens to him, then Lucy has no chance on her own. He waited for the right moment, not knowing there was someone else, but then got away with Lucy. I doubt we will, but I hope we see Lucy again. Loved Madeline, she's a great leader. The little girl dumming it down for Danny was funny. I thought this was a great episode. This year has not disappointed.

Hawaii Five-0 Review: Armed Gunman Survival Badge

I thought this was a great episode and very entertaining. I loved that we finally got to see Adam. His brother has to be the evil one. Kono was not being naive, she does not trust Michael. She defended Adam, but when Chin asked her about Michael she did not answer, and when they were at the table and Michael commented on her being a cop, she had another look that she was weary of him. Yes, the gun on the nightstand was not smart, but then we would not have the drama of what he did with the gun in the future. How many cops on TV have done the same thing? I know we have not had a lot of Chin lately, but his time will come, and I love Catherine, but not being in the last 2 shows was fine. She'll be back and I look forward to that, and to see how Chin gets more involved. Very happy we have seen so much of Kono this year. (Cont.)

Hawaii Five-0 Review: Rumor Has It

I liked this episode very much. The two chase scenes were great. Chasing the drugged out naked guy was hilarious, Steve's look after having to tackle him, and Kono saying "put your hands behind your back, and keep your legs closed" was great. I very happy to see so much more of Kono. I love Steve and Danny together, but it great when they mix it up. I also love Catherine, but I agree she is not needed in every episode. I do love the Doris story also, its picking up. I think the writers leaving things alone for an episode or two and returning to it, is a good move. I think Behati actually did well with the lines she had, I did not expect much, but was surprised. She delivered the line with Danny on the couch stating people think Grace looks like him, and her saying "I don't see it" flowed and was done well.
