I enjoyed the finale. I will miss this show. I always thought that Fiona would get her way in the end. She has Michael out of the business in Ireland, with her. Now she and Michael can have that family, with Nate's son. I do wish Maddie did not have to die though. I would have liked to see her there with Fiona and Michael.
Another rumor started without any real fact. Michelle is not going anywhere, and I love the character. We all can't like everything. I've checked in on Michelle's twitter, and I have never found her to be rude. She speaks her mind, and that is what some people think of as rude. I think fans are the rude ones, getting personal with her and other cast members. Social media has good aspects to it, but most people just treat it as one big bitch session. No one said you had to like the character, but lets stick to fact.
This is just so sad. I loved how he played the character, he was a really good actor. It's so heartbreaking to think that someone who seemingly has all the options and resources in the world, would think that they would be better off dead. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I will miss him on this show.
Cont.... As for Kono and Adam. I guess Adam is the good afterall, I have hopes that we will see him again. I don't think that storyline has ended.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Steve gets Wofat out of this one, as they come crashing through the door. You know he has something up his sleeve.
I was actually happy to see Chin move on, and look forward to seeing him deal with a new woman in his life. I don't really know what to make of Danny and Gabby, I guess we will see. I think overall a B- season. I'm hoping a new night gives the writers a chance to correct some mistakes and not drag things out so much.
I was expecting an answer to Doris and Wofat and was disappointed in not getting it. I feel that the writers tend to drag things on too long, which is why some people have tuned out. You can give an answer and still have it lead to more questions so that people keep coming back. I think the writers can do better next season in not dragging it out, but still keep the character.
Overall, I did enjoy the season. I don't think Grace Park is going anywhere, and whatever the reason she may be gone for a little while, is her business and she will let us know when she wants to, so people can speculate all they want, but its up to her to let us know if there is anything to know.
I feel the Catherine former boyfriend is a twist that may be interesting. If anything happens between Steve and Catherine I feel confident that it will resolve itself. I love the relationship between the two, and the actors work well together.
This was a good episode. Not as good as last weeks, and the finale is usually great, so looking forward to that. I think both stories on Doris and Kono are setting up the season opener for next year.
I think the Kono story was great. Is Adam going to turn good or bad is still the question. Is he going to help Kono against his brother? I would think that he would. I can't imagine Steve and Danny would ever believe Kono would shoot anyone. They and Chin will come to her rescue after a few dramatic moments. It will be interesting to see if Adam and Kono's relationship survive.
I really liked this episode. The ending was both heart breaking and relief. I agree that H50 really knows how to turn up the emotional notch, and the actors really know how to show it. Very well done.
I'm glad we are starting to get the Kono/Adam story heating up, I'm sure its a big part of the finale. Love that Grace Park is getting her turn. I still don't know which way they are going to go with Adam. Is he good or evil? Looking forward to the final two episodes.
@Mr. Mike....I believe they were going for the symbolism, as a cop is not suppose to be doing that, so for a few minutes he gave up his badge. I know its not legal, but 5-0 does get away with things a real cop would not. Who would not want to beat this guy? The actor by the way was great, he played the creepy guy perfectly.
@Walter.....thanks for the info on the lead biker guy, I was wondering if he was real. Peter getting his inspiration for the episode from him and letting him be in the episode was great. And I also thought it was a strange coincidence after watching the episode, finding out about the 3 women being held for 10 years.
I loved this episode. They are setting up Steve to realize what he has in Catherine. Despite the haters, this is a great character, and perfect for Steve. Michelle is a wonderful actress, and has great chemistry, with a wonderful actor in Alex. Each episode they have together shows that.
Even though we did not see the rest of the team much, they played a very important part. The funeral scene was both heart wrenching and heart warming. They are all Ohana, and is why most people watch each week. Like it or not, Catherine is a part of that, as is Kamekona and Max.
Jimmy Buffett plays the character great, and yes it was mentioned that the character was named after a character Jimmy himself wrote about. Perhaps why he plays him so well. I loved the prequel, I think it gave us a lot of insight to McGarrett, and why he is who he is. Looking forward to what they have instore for us in the final episodes and next year.
A few words for the reality police. This is TV, and you can say the same thing about all shows on TV. It's not real, it's not plausible, it's acting, none of these characters are real, none of the situations are real, it's make believe, it's entertainment. You will enjoy shows and life much better if you remember that.
Reality is what happened in Boston yesterday. Be upset about that, not a TV show.
