Fun RT! 1. Plastique or Grodd?I liked Plastique and the way she was just not sure who and what she was. She hadn't time to figure it out and I'm sad the writers didn't exploit her for a couple of more eps. Killing Plastique was a bad move it didn't made sense at the moment besides seeing what Barry can do. I had no clue who Grodd was before the episode, I read it up and a telepathic Gorilla will be interesting to play out.2.Is P dead?I surely hope so anything! Keeping her alive and going evil would be so Phoenix/Jean Grey. And her death should've brought her piece after all the mess she went through.3.Most interesting moment?Hmmm the Wells teases are always interesting but the Iris reveal was much bigger. It finally gave Iris a purpose and she wasn't excluded from the story. I hope the writers have learned from the mistakes they made with Laurel on Arrow and give Iris a story and space.Besides that the " Do I sound like Felicity ?" line was quite entertaining.4. Why are they keeping it from Iris?To protect her! I mean it would be quite dangerous for her to know stuff and meta's could go after her. Iris for sure wouldn't be in the corner and watch Barry put himself in danger every week. ICYMI It would be a bit boring if everyone would know it. How I would handle it? No clue. 5. Metabolism?Mine for sure. People love tipsy Spindae! Believe me, they like him a lot.PS Great answer Hank!
The terms of turning are a bit shaky and not completely defined. When Alaric's heart stopped the magic that made him a Vamp was "absorbed" by the ground. So when he came back he was human. But again its shaky ground. Maybe the writers surprise us and reveal/explain why the compulsion didn't wear off.
Nice catch. No I have to rewatch it, cause I think he died for a moment. The writers did a major mistake than with the compulsion thingy, but don't fool ourselves it wasn't the first one ;-). Either way after Jo stopped the bleed Alaric's cause of death disappeared and with no magic he is just a Vamp.
1. Thoughts on the Ep!-It was an average ep, it had it's solid character interactions and developments but plot-wise it was predictable. I missed the edge Arrow eps usually have, reveal and establish new secrets and make it a mind blowing hour of TV.2. Donna!-She was hilarious and we need a Donna-child Felicity centric episode. We need more background to her personality. It seems that Fel's dad leaving her left pretty huge scars. I would prefer a Donna backstory but wouldn't mind if she made a present time appearance these days. Team Arrow has to go Vegas one day.3.Ray?-Hmmmm, still don't have a real opinion on him. He fits Felicity well but we already established that Fel doesn't need someone who is similar to her. His motives are something else. Could see him work for ARGUS and Amanda. 4.Wapp with Malcolm?- Malcolm is a smart man. He knows he can't trust anyone Thea is with him a couple of months and that hasn't to mean anything. And of of course Thea is the last thing he has in the world so it's just logical he is protective of her. I feel the Malcolm-Thea story underwhelming so far, I expected far more from them. But still we are at ep 5 they have space.5.Roy killing Sara?- I doubt it! I sincerely doubt it. If he did it, he was brainwashed for sure, Not a fan of it at all, it's a real stretch to the story and I'm hoping for a good explanation.
You completely got the Alaric thing wrong. Alaric was wounded by Esther with the white oak stake back in 3x20 and bleed out to death, cause she ruptured his aorta, big blood vessel. The magic doppelganger blood healed him and turned into a vamp. When he crossed the border the magic was stripped away and his aorta ruptured again. So he died, but Jo with her anti hemorrhage bandage stopped the bleed and restarted his heart with CPR. So he wouldn't turn back when he crosses the border again cause the magic that should've revived him failed and disappeared from his body..Yes its a long shot but she repaired the cause of death and restarted his death heart. It is a nice twist and continues the mess up Delena relationship. This is the first time I really really enjoy Delena. Elena being more rational about Damon is something the show always missed. Elena's moral compass was always a nice stretch. And Jo is obviously Kai's sister.
Great RT people! 1. Favorite sceneI'm a sucker for Jim and Barbara! I really enjoy their scenes together and Jim kicking as when Fish's people came around was just so adorable.Besides that the flashback was a complete game changer. I really didn't saw it coming. 2. Victor Zsazs? He was kickas*, that flip flop was nicely executed. I think he had a nice edge. Hope he sticks around and Jim kicks his skinny but in the name of good guys.3. Oswald and Carmine?I was completely shocked, didn't see it coming. Oswald is much smarter than I ever thought. I knew he was psychotic but that play move was just perfect and can't wait for see this play out in the long/short run. Let's see where this will lead to. 4.Jim and Harvey? Not that I don't appreciate Harvey's new state of mind, but it's a bit to random and quick to happen. The Spirit of the Goat shake Harvey up but don't think in this huge way that he would go so randomly against Carmine. Let's see how they'll keep the intensity between the characters now that the big issue is gone. Still Harvey is a two face let's see how long he'll stay faithful to the light side.5.Too Cartoony? In the begging it was too much. The whole set up was a bit to "naive", now it got a lot more edge and seems a bit more realistic and easier to get into. I fairly enjoy it now. The last couple of episodes really changed the way I watch the show, I almost gave up on the show, glad it found it's footing.
Soooo sweeeet! Adorable! He feels isolated and needs his Bonnie.
I wasn't happy how it played out either. I hoped for much more inside, more hints towards her past. I knew it wouldn't be revealed right away but I hoped we got a lot more from Felicity but hopefully we get at least one more Felicity ep this season. Donna was brilliant I fairly enjoyed her, she was a character you barely don't see in Starling these days. Didn't enjoy Cooper at all, he really was just a "pretty" face stopping by. Thea and Oliver were fine enjoyed they were facing their problems, I just hoped Oliver would fess up about being the Arrow, it's time for sure. The look on Malcolm's face was priceless. Not happy about that Roy nightmare either! It's a bit random! Hope the writers know what they are doing.
I really enjoy Kai, and I while Chris was in The CD I assumed he would get a CW show on his own, but The Vd is the next best thing. He seems to be the big Villain of S06 so I think he'll stick around for some time.
1. Corto Maltese?- I loved the location, it had that CSI Miami vibe and type of shooting. I also thought that the episode would focus more on Thea, but at the end I think it worked out better this way. They teased a lot, gave us tidbits and the rest will unfold over the course of the season. Should be quite interesting if it continues this way.2. Amanda Waller!?Amanda is a cryptic character. She is a real force but still why did she target Oliver is still a secret and I can't wait for them to tell their story. Season 3 is much more complex and we are getting so much more than just Oliver island flashbacks and it seems like Amanda's back story will have to wait..I think Lyla is quite good positioned and isn't in danger atm. I hope the writers have an overall goal for the Amanda story, for now they didn't dair to go there.3. Thea's training and future.I loved the flashbacks and I adore the respect the 2 of them built up between each other. Thea has changed and if you watched the Canadian or New Zealand preview it's intense and Thea will show her real face quick.4, Smoak Consolidated?- The Felicity-Ray dynamic was really nice to watch and I like that the writers remembered that ambitious side of Fel's character, she didn't come to Starling city to be Oliver's Mary Sue she wants more out of life. Her promotion of course is part of Ray's bigger plan but I think there is an interesting story to be discovered there. Ray I have a feeling that works either for Amanda or Ra, with the former being the more realistic choice.5. Laurel's Training!I respect Oliver so much for telling NO! People were bitching so much about his blind spot for Laurel and this is a really step forward. And I appreciate the writers for going this road and not the easy one. The Black Canary is a fighter on her own and she has motives on her own. Oliver couldn't train her, cause something happen to Laurel would destroy him. Sara wouldn't want that for Laurel cause Sara hated what she become and yes Laurel won't become a killer but don't put her into temptation.
