It's a difference when you keep a secret from someone and an other thing when someone wants to investigate your work and publish that. Don't you think?
Your dead ex fiancee can go up in flames, of course you won't share it with everyone. And that question? Why wasn't she straight up about her intentions and what she found out and said I recognized him from the picture etc etc... and that she is concerned. The approach should be different.
I think it is as much as we get from the show. On screen they barely share times but they hang out together. But you have to look at the reasons for lying. Think Iris would protect Eddie's secret as well, she shouldn't look things just from 1 perspective. But we obviously disagree on this, and neither will back down from its point, so lets agree to disagree.
Cause Iris wants to investigate and publish her research! Barry wanted to be open with Iris, but on Joe's plea not to involve his daughter into danger activities Barry backed out. I don't say Barry's actions are right but his motives are coming from a different place. And even if she isn't after the big story, Mason is and won't doubt a second and publish a story.
I don't say you are wrong with Iris possible assumptions but Iris should go and be open with Barry and ask him straight. Cause it's obvious he knows things.
Barry's heart was flatlining all the time and only cause of their help it stabilized. Didn't understand your statement about Iris work helping C&C?
Barry was awkward with Caitlin when she lied about Ronnie. So Iris picked up on that. I don't say Iris investigating is wrong, didn't have a bad word about her blog, but going after her friends isn't right. It's about respect, and of course they won't share with her every single of their secrets but you should be open about Mason's intentions.
What can her investigation fix Wells ans his lies? Star labs is doing its best to repair the mess, Wells probably intentionally caused. They spent Christmas toegther and are friends, yes they lied about Ronnie but it was about protecting someone's secret and they aren't allowed to share it with Iris.
Firestorm?A spin off? Nay! Not that these 2 couldn't pull off a show on their own, they ertainly outshined our main cast at moments but don't see they interactions be that good for a long run. Also how would they pull of the steamy scenes when they are connected mentally? And CW loves those scenes.Iris?I agree a journalist should do his job, there is no place for emotions, but Caitlin and Cisco saved her best friend's life they shouldn't be touched. What are we if we loose ourselves for instant fame?Barry vs Future? This show is based on Barry's optimism and courage but as you said Carissa, it's a Loop. He probably thought the same thing. To go and fix rhe past he has first to visit the future to see what he has done wrong.Harrison and Grood?I enjoyed that moment so much. Grood's cgi or whatever was perfect. But I hoped for a nore human look so he would be more appropriate for the show. Maybe he and Wells will fusion so Wells would stick around.About Harrison and his ways, Wells is so much into symbolism and Grood taking out Eilling was just absymbolic way that karma comes and kicks your as*.The Promo?I'm realy confused with that one. Especially cause I didn't expect it at this stage. Ibthink the episode will raise more questions than it will answer but it will be a truly heartbreaking moment to for Team Flash and I can't wait to see it go down.
The show really made huge progress from the winter portion of the season. The story is getting more character and development focused and focusing less on the metas. I really love Joe and I'm so afraid he'll be the Flash's Tommy. How possibly could Barry survive losing Joe? I know it is hard to properly involve Iris in the story, without her knowing, but it just doesn't work this way.
