  1. Person of Interest Review: Taking Root

@POI 1001 - Yup, you're right. Thanks for noticing. No idea why I put Sara down. All fixed!

@RandomCommentor - I like your take on the Flowers for Algernon reference. That's what is so great about stuff like that, it really gets people thinking about the story as a whole and that larger picture.
  2. Supernatural Season Premiere Review: The Boys Are Back In Town

@Emma - It really is an interesting comment about it not being up to the boys to save the world. The brothers have always had the attitude that it is up to them. I'm interested in seeing where they take that concept.

@Amber - I'm not sure if closing the gates would end the series. I'm pretty sure that closing the gates only stops the demons, not the vampires, shifters, or variety of other monsters. Granted, the demons as enemies have always been great, but I'm sure the show would find a way to bring in another baddie (or re-open the gates, etc.).

I do wonder when the show will end, but I'm hoping not too soon! The Winchester bros provide for entertaining TV.

@Richard - Dean really got some great lines this episode. Love his two rules!
  3. Hell on Wheels Review: The Other Woman

@tompapp - I'm not sure if Durant even wants her looking over his shoulder now, let alone later. I agree though that Hannah definitely helps push Lily and Bohannon closer together.
  4. Parenthood Review: Life's Not Fair

@Richard - I don't see Max winning either and I know that if he did it would be that cliched happy ending for him. I kind of hope he loses, not for the sake of losing, but for getting the chance to learn that not everything is going to go his way.
  5. Perception Review: Campus Crush

@fortyseven I really like the idea of them getting together but breaking up because it doesn't work. That would be a really interesting take rather than trying to force a relationship between them.
  6. Perception Series Premiere Review: What Did You Think?

@Jasmine - It's funny that you should mention that Natalie might really exist. I was thinking it would be really interesting if at some point the "real" or at least alive version of her shows up. Just because she's a hallucination doesn't mean she's dead.
  7. Awkward Review: A Little Racist

Nice review! I'm glad this show is back. I'm still trying to guess who that mysterious commenter could be...
  8. Tournament of TV Fanatic: Vote For Your Favorite CW Star!

Clear eyes. Full hearts. Can't lose.
  9. Pretty Little Liars Review: A Sight For Sore Eyes

Jenna's sob story? Not buying it either. But really, how did she move so fast from the taxi to the building to her car? Was that editing, speeding up the story so we don't have to wait too long, or something else entirely?
  10. The Killing Season Finale Review: Who Killed Rosie?

@Jack - Yeah, Linden and Holder probably could have used a shower or something. Maybe find a clean sweater? I think there are loose ends as well, but for me the conclusiveness and emotional ending to figuring it all out in regards to what happened, worked for me.

@Suzanne - Security really did seem non existent. I was even surprised that both the Richmond camp and Adams camp were in the same building. I never knew that they were that close. Does it always work like that or just works for this story. And it does work well as a final episode, and I kind of hope that if they do get the chance to come back, to take a new direction and leave the Larsen case and its surrounding connections behind to try something different.

@Marisa1983 - At first I suspected Terry was involved and committed the murder out of her desire and love for Aames. And she did, but it was shocking that she had no idea that it was Rosie. Such an anguished filled scene.
  11. The Killing Season Finale Review: Who Killed Rosie?

@adge - I think JH is right in that Linden still had some questions about the lake and using her non stop detective skills continued to mull over the clues and evidence until all the dots connected together. Linden's hunch because of it led them to Terry but Terry's confession allowed for everything to finally make sense.

@Guest - Jamie was clearly eager to do whatever was necessary for Richmond. Talk about intense devotion.

@EosEmma - I agree about the one season thing and would love to see Enos and Kinnaman back. And if the show doesn't make it back, I'll be certainly sure to follow Kinnaman's career because man that guy can act.
  12. Dallas Review: Watch & Learn

I know the show still maintains some of its soapy elements, but it's full of so many fun twists, turns, and drama that it's an entertaining ride that doesn't stop. The episodes just keep getting better. It's definitely something to tune in for some summer fun.
  13. The Killing Review: Gwen, Jamie and the Usual Suspects

@Lindy - It's true. I still feel like we are missing that important piece that will explain who did it and why. Maybe Jamie chased her through the woods but someone else dumped her body?

@rachel - Thanks Rachel. All fixed.

@ Jesus Harold Christ - I appreciate your candor and am excited to find out who actually killed Rosie on next week's episode!
  14. Person of Interest Review: Breaking Bad

@Tanya To be honest I had to go back and check to see what proof we really had that Reese killed Jennings, but the last thing we see is him approaching him and that's it. And with Carter learning that there is more than one American in the prison potentially leads to the idea that he and others could be there. But we just never really know and that ambiguity is great. We do know that Reese has the power to kill but he clearly has the power to choose other means as well.
  15. Person of Interest Review: Dangerous Liaisons

@nia and niks4u - Thanks guys. Simply a typo on a late night, but all fixed! Glad to hear you guys enjoyed the episode though!
  16. Person of Interest Review: All In the Family

I believe the songs used were Burn My Shadow by UNKLE and Ne Me Quitte Pas by Jacques Brel
  17. The Walking Dead Season Finale Review: Burning Down the House

@Maka - I thought I had written a paragraph about her, but with so much going on I forgot to put it in. You're right though, she definitely did way more positive stuff for her character than usual. Good catch.
  18. Person of Interest Review: Clash of the Computer Titans

@caddguy6 - I believe earlier in the season, Finch said something about setting up the Machine for himself to focus only on NYC. I'm sure it can focus on everywhere, but Finch felt like he'd do a better job if he spent his time on the one location. Maybe far down the road, Reese and Finch might expand their efforts...

@Fan - For a moment, I did think that Zoe might be that hacker and that could be a cool twist, but I'm pretty sure we saw the hacker in the dorm room immediately after Zoe confronted the campaign manager. Unless Zoe has super speed, I don't think they can be the same person. Plus, IMDB lists another actress as playing the hacker. I did love Finch having a worthy adversary that wasn't taken down in one episode though, even if it wasn't Zoe.
  19. Person of Interest Review: The Justice League

@ Ira Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

@Loren - I'm really curious about Finch now too and I love that everyone seems to be spying on each other. Thanks for weighing in!

@Alex - I went back and checked again and you are right. She did bring him lunch. I guess I completely skipped over him as a suspect or the potential bad guy because he was there for literally a few minutes and didn't really give off the usual shady vibe. Thanks for the notice!
  20. Person of Interest Review: "Number Crunch"

@cynthia - I'm glad you enjoy reading my reviews and are enjoying the show. I'm curious and excited to see where the show heads when it returns in 2012.

@Diamondlife - Laughed when you said you broke your remote trying to hear Reese. I do understand the reason for his quiet tone and it definitely reflects aspects of his character, but sometimes you just wish he would speak up a little too.

Great to see so many people are enjoying this show as well. Hope it sticks around for a good while and keeps bringing some entertaining, butt kicking hours.
  21. Supernatural Review: "The Mentalists"

@Piecar - Somehow my review met up with some technical difficulties. Should be all good now!
  22. Supernatural Review: It's a Buffy Reunion!

@Nyka - I know. I know. I knew even writing that sentence would catch me flak. Hopefully you can forgive me for my TV error. Guess I better go grab a season 1 set and start checking out what I've missed!

@Panchita - Castiel died, allegedly. Will he be back? Who knows, but for now, all that remains is his trench coat.
  23. Person of Interest Review: Dirty Sexy Money

@Art - Thanks for the song info. It really was a great way to end out the episode

@Sue Ann - Reese, the hero, looks relatively unhappy because he lost the woman he loved and has become rather cold because of it. That said, he's finding purpose with his job and he looked a lot worse at the beginning of the show.

@bbbb - I'm glad you were able to catch that. I thought they were Russian, but couldn't remember if it was mentioned or not. Certainly very cool that you can read and understand Polish without those subtitles when Reese was speaking. I believe the actor, Jim Caviezel can speak a few languages. Polish might actually be one of them.

@cha11 - I'm glad you found TVFanatic as well! Happy to have you here. It's great when people come to discuss a show with their thoughts and opinions. I certainly love reading them.

@Sandy - I agree that the characters make this show. I just wish Detective Carter had something more to do or at least some background. As for the others, very diverse and interesting.
  24. Homeland Review: CIA-mazing

Nice review Dan! Just wanted to point out your review was one of the top listed articles under google entertainment news. Thought it was pretty cool and had to mention it to you.

Certainly looking forward to where this show is headed!
  25. Two and a Half Men Review: "People Who Love Peepholes"

I wanted to enjoy it and I've kept an open mind, but everything just felt off. Is Walden Schmidt supposed to be smart or is he supposed to be Kelso from that 70s Show? I enjoyed Kutcher's character on that show, but here it doesn't fit. I agree that the writers need to find a better, different, and more consistent way to make Walden likeable. Also, constantly showing Kutcher without clothes isn't a form of smart writing.

And where is Jake? It really is an Allen and Friends series now. But how long will it last if it keeps up like this?
