I am just so shocked and in mourning... Carter was an amazing character that from the start was part of the reason I watched the show. I'm waiting for the interviews and reasons behind this because I can't fathom why it was done. I mean I know motivation to continue the fight is the main reason, but seriously couldn't the bad guys just loose and leave it at that. It was be far the best episode of the season. A small naive part of me wishes that it was part of the plan and she is alive. She needs to be witness for the indictments so here's hoping. Also what got me is that the machine was late in giving him the number. Surely it should have notified Finch earlier? Something tells me the machine did that on purpose. Maybe Root got to it...
This has become a dumb show. They have destroyed Jenna. Ober it now.
I also think Charlotte was the one behind the brakes and is the one who shoots Emily. She has been acting way to hostile to Ems of late and has become more shady. It could be a red herring but I still think that Charlotte has graduated from being the teen angsty screw up to something more. Just not sure what that it yet.
Secondly as many people including Mirands has said: They are clearly tearing down Aiden (and I am so glad the writers are doing this) for a Jack and Emily reunion. That to me and to the casual viewer has always been the endgame. I didn't see it at first but now that Jack and Emily are at odds with each other, the chemistry is palable and they could do well together.
Two things I've observed going into this season:They are clearly bringing it witht the story this year. It has never been more intsense and powerful and two the writers are writing the story as if this could possibly (and with the state of the ratings) be the final season. Why I say this. If Emily completes her Revengenda this season, whats going to be the focus of season 4. They can't expect to prolong it so much. I mean there is only so many obstacles that they can throw in the way of her plan before it becomes monotonous (like Revolution). I know they could come up with something but would it be as compelling as the reason for the show in the first place?Secondly as many people including Mirands has said: They are clearly tearing down Aiden (and I am so glad the writers are doing this) for a Jack and Emily reunion. I think Callen has a russian name with a G. Especially not that we know his father was russian. The comescus must just die now....
I expected a little more from this episode but you have to give props to Chris O'Donnel for his performance tonight. Few things, Owen & Hetty were seriously smoking some weed when they thought they would get Callen out of the way. That rouse would not have fooled anyone. Idiotic. Then I get Callen is a lone wolf but he should have taken Sam with. Sam could have helped him. DI hope that we get a resolution to this story already.
I think its happening... NBC might just be pulling out of its slump. The Blacklist is an amazing hit. It has everything a good spy thriller needs. James Spader is beyond perfection. Its a shame that he won't get recognised at the Globes or Emmy's because judging from what we've seen and what I know will happen James will be amazing. I think its very obvious that Elizabeth could be his daughter so I'm betting he isn't. What I believe is that her father was possibly involved with Raymond in whatever happened when he went of the grid. Maybe he is partly to blame and this is going to help him get absolution. Helping her, making her career. So excited. Can't wait for this to play out.
I think that this episode was good. I like the horror and spooky=ness of it all. I don't think that this episode was boring, I think that they are trying to let the story take its time to progress. The premise of the show is not something that can last for six seasons at a fast pace. The pace has to be slow, there is a lot they do not know or understand. The only person who believes in everything is Ichabod and he will need to make Abby a believer. She is on the road but is not necessarily there yet. Accoring to Michael Aushole, John Cho will recur so it isn't the last we've seen of deputy Andy. I think we must just wait for the story to progress in it's own time.
Ugh this is just plain dumb. I mean Gordon does hae a lot of story in the comics and he is an integral character in the Batman world but this will not work out so good. There has never been a Batman-Type show that has lasted long. But I guess Fox and DC want to create a lot of hype surrounding the Sequel to Superman so this would be the way to go...
