Good point, Rollo knew it was hopeless & you are right, the sons had to survive. I just wish he put up a little more of an argument. I hope he comes thru for you.Floki is not anywhere near as hot as Daryl is though, just from my lady point of view ;o)
Agree, the new Bjorn is really good, you know sooner or later he's gonna dispatch his wicked stepdad. I thought it was a little girl Ragnar helped hide in the barrel, but regardless, it really does show his "human side". Even blood thirsty Vikings like kids & Ragnar while not always being the most caring husband, has always been very affectionate with his kids. I wondered if that girl reminded him of his own much loved daughter, who died end of Season 1.Floki continues to be my favorite character, after every battle I look for him, looming over Ragnar's shoulder. He's fast becoming the "Daryl Dixon in Eyeliner" character to me. Beloved, trusted, somewhat-comic sidekick, they better not kill off. Even if he is pretty brutal sometime, I cut him slack, he was raised a Viking. And Rollo ran away...again. Overall really good episode on a show that continues to grow on me.
I thought it was a really good episode. LOVE JERRY, glad to see him back! I love it when H50 brings back their recurring characters. I think Melanie Griffith looks too young to be Dan's mom, but my teenage daughter disagrees "she's got big wrinkles around her eyes, she looks old" so there you have it.Glad to they used everyone in this episode, Kono, Cath & Chin. Good to have the gang back together again. Looking forward to next week and Tom Berenger as Dan's dad. Now HE doesn't look too young! But he's still a fine looking man...
Good luck to whomever kidnapped annoying Beth. I assume it's a Norman Bates-type mortician person who was "cleaning" the mortuary & keeping the bodies there so well dressed. And he sent the zombies in (Daryl opens the door without looking-huh? Smartest guy in the apocalypse would never do that.) to flush Beth out so he could kidnap her. Have fun pal!Daryl joining up w/the Sons of Anarchy who were at Ricks Place last week was interesting. I think that is setting us up for him to have to make some heroic moves when the SoA find some other "group" members & threaten them. That's what Daryl does best, so I hope it turns out that way.Glad the Maggie/Bob/Sasha group met up again at the end, that was a rare happy scene on WD. I too wish they'd move it along and people start meeting up again as there are only 3 episodes left. Anyone else worried Terminus is "Woodbury Part Deux"?
That is wicked funny - and SO true!
This show reminds me of the Walking Dead minus zombies. Not in a bad way but we have Ragnar (Rick) the leader with a bad marriage to Lagertha's (Lori), beloved sidekick Floki (Daryl) who can't die without pissing off 3/4 the audience, bad brother Rollo (Shane), the troubled priest whose name escapes me (Hershel) and the kid Bjorn (Carl). Everyone is dirty & bloody & they fight alot. Wondering if Ragnar will sail west and find a prison? On a more serious note, I felt they kinda skimmed over the daughters death, with only that one short scene of Ragnar at the beach. I'd have liked to see him interact with his wife about it and maybe mourn a little more, he always seemed pretty attached to those kids.
@james-Watch "Talking Dead" after. They said that "guy at foot of bed was breathing, so not dead, just choke holded into passing out". Oh & toilet guy (didn't get that he caused commotion till you said it-thanks) turned FAST- good thing.
Thanks, makes way more sense from that view ;o)
Big SNORE from me. While I hate to look at reality in WD, WHO dressed Rosalita? Hoop earrings, belly shirt, short shorts? She looks like she found a "Badass Girl" Halloween costume laying around. And in "Sons of Anarchy Meet Rick Grimes" what was-Mysterious Guy Sitting on Toilet With Pants Fully On-doing? Cutting his toenails? (his boots were off) No one heard them banging around & clearing the vanity in their fight? I thought the "Well, we WERE going to Washington to Save the World but now we'll go look for Maggie since our truck is broke" story dumb as well. I do LOVE Carl and Michonne together though. They bring out the best in each other. Not a very good episode in my opinion at all.
I agree Tyrese was stupid to leave the kids alone in the woods (Sophia anyone?). My thought was he ran off cause it sounded like a woman screaming and he thought it was his sister Sasha. He'd walk thru fire for her.Glenn did look different, has he gained weight? His face was really full. Glad tho he was kicking butt again, sick as he was. He's been SUCH a wimp since he fell in love with Maggie.
