Switched at Birth Review: Hold Nothing Back

Speaking of Regina, what's up with her lately? I guess her love life has been so overwhelming that she's forgetting about her daughters. She's completely out of sync with both of them. With Daphne she usually knows when she's hiding something, now its Melody doing the parenting. As for Regina and Bay, I've always felt that relationship was underdeveloped. Now would be a good time for Regina to pull some of that super-bad-ass mom stuff on Bay I know a lot of viewers think that Bay is being bratty but think about this; She's never felt acceptance from her family, she's always known something was off and then Daphne comes in and she's the "perfect" daughter they've always wanted. Just because Bay and Daphne have bonded, doesn't mean Bay still doesn't feel like her parents wouldn't rather the switch didn't happen.

Hahahaha Nate doesn`t get them often but every once and awhile he`ll get thrown a one liner and say what you will of Chace Crawford`s acting skills, he nails them.

Switched at Birth Review: Coming Clean

John and Travis were so great to watch, I'm hoping for more of that. I know a guy a lot like Travis. He was my friend and was always there for me, always ready to be a great guy. He's now my boyfriend, it took me a year to realize that this friend was always there for me, but I'm glad I did. So I'm hoping Daphne realizes it too. (yes, I know this is a tv show. But being invested in the characters is a sign of a good one) P.S Awesome to see Toby with a non-Simone related storyline

Switched at Birth Review: Coming Clean

As for Bay, I understand where she's coming from. I'm the only artist in my family full of blue collared workers and susie homemakers. It's tough trying to be understood and you can go to some serious lengths to feel like you belong. Which is exactly what's happening. Regina may be the only one who can through to her as not only her bio mother but as a fellow artist and someone who knows that criminal behavior only ends badly. As for the Emmett thing, Emmett CHEATED on her and then lied about it. Bay borrowed a camera and is confused on how to react to his lovey, dovey gaze. I think we can cut her some slack considering the scenario.

Switched at Birth Review: Coming Clean

Chef Jeff (oh lord, that really is a horrible name) is old enough to know what he's doing is wrong and could cost him his job. Daphne is still technically a Kennish, which everyone knows about because of Kathryn's book, and we saw last episode that name carries some weight. It would be a scandal and he's lose his position. Not to mention he's messing around with a kid, age of consent or not, she's a kid. He can't possibly have a relationship with her, even through a cloud of lust he should know better. Blaming Daphne is ridiculous, she's a horny teenager with starry eyes for her hero. Teenagers never think they're too young, until its too late. Besides, Daphne isn't ready for sex, she made that clear with Wilkie, she's just trying to compete with Melody. This isn't going to end well.

Glee Review: Give Your Heart a Break

Couple 4, Emma and Will? The only thing I have to argue about in this episode was the Will and Emma thing. With highly emotional breaks up like Finn and Rachel, Blaine and Kurt, Brittney and Santana, it was weird to throw these two in there. Emma and Will have been a big storyline since season one, to toss them in there just to round out the episode's "theme" is where this show starting going wrong in the first place. Down with themes. I dont know if these two are broken up but since they're adults, live together, and will work together again after Will gets back, it seems weird to only have ONE conversation with them when their relationship is in fact the one with the most at stake. They shouldn't have been tossed in. Just saying.

Couple 3, Santana and Britney Another sad break up but again, I can relate. Even when you really love someone, its tough to be young and attached. Santana clearly wants her freedom to explore. Its what college is for. She made the mature but painful choice. I respect that. I had to do that with my high school sweetheart when we went our separate ways, its turned out for the best.

Glee Review: Give Your Heart a Break

Couple 2, Rachel and Finn. What Finn did to Rachel was not cool. He NEVER let her make a decision for herself in that relationship. He abandoned her at the bus station, which was heroic in its own way but it's what I call "benevolent control issues". You want to do the right thing for the one you love but you do it in a way that leaves them without much say in the matter. Rachel was grateful but then he disappears for 4 months. Then re-apears without telling her anything, then disappears again. And he knows he's wrong and needs to get a grip. It was painful to watch (props to both actors) yet you can tell they both thought it was right in the end. Btw, bet you all 5 bucks Finn decides to be a teacher by the end of this season.

Glee Review: Give Your Heart a Break

All those couples needed to break up. High school sweethearts RARELY make it, at least not all the way through. Its because college and work takes us all to different places both physically and emotionally. First Couple, Blaine and Kurt. As someone who recently had to let my boyfriend go so he could be in his dream acting school and have very little time for our relationship, I understand what Blaine is going through. The key to not going crazy is to trust they love you and keep busy. Its important to have a dream of your own and know that missing them is temporary, that when you see them again it'll all feel better and you'll have loads to talk about. But I'm older, 21 and I dont think I would have been able to do it at 18 the way they tried to. Even those few years make a big difference.

How I Met Your Mother Review: All the Above

If Ted and Victoria had broken up last episode, it would have been predicable because we know that she's not the mother. Those two need to be last, that way we see what Ted gives up in order to take a risk on this other woman. If he doesn't have any stakes in his relationship with Victoria, where's the drama? Klaus wasn't funny, I know native Germans who don't speak or act like he does. The stereotype is overused and annoying. Nick is boring. Hope he goes next. Robin is too awesome for a dumb boyfriend. At least the last ones were either cool or had some interesting quirks.
