Georgina is WAY too powerful to be believable. Then again, Blair's brain seems to be up her ass these days and she was the only one to take G down before, so wash. Lola is awesome and also, totally a Van der Woodsen. Man, there's secret children everywhere. Im sure she'll be quickly forgotten like Scott, even though I was glad of that. Jack saved Chuck? No. Jack would be the one that finally throws Chuck off a roof so he can steal his brother's millions. AND THAT'S THE WAY WE LIKE HIM.
Ivy was cold! But then again clearly there was a side of CeCe that she knew but no one else bothered to. I feel cheated I wanted to know the CeCe that was friends with her butcher and enjoyed a good ol' Irish pint. Oh CeCe, I will miss you. But one thing about the apartment. Didn't Lily and Bart buy that while they were married? Or did Lily just finish construction on it and they moved in? Either way, its not 100% clear.
About the preview. I KNEW IT. I had a feeling this was coming. Dan and Blair are friends. They've never had any chemistry in the previous seasons despite what the producers said. I dont know about Chuck and Blair, I think even the actors are sick of playing the same scene over and over again. I knew I'm sick of watching it. "Oh Chuck I love you but I can't be with you"! Basically, I hate Blair's love life and wish that it wasn't the focus of the show. It's saved them in the past but now its making Blair look flighty and weak. She's basically going from one guy to the next and weeping about all of them.
Robin just doesn't love Ted. She never has, that's why she was so reluctant to get together with him in the first place but Ted is a persistent sweetheart and boyfriend material. It's pretty hard not to want that. Robin just gave up Kevin because she knew that he wanted kids, she would do the same thing for Ted. As for Barney and Robin, I have no idea what's happening there. Barney said he was over it and I kind of believe him. They were my favorites, so it was disappointing. But Robin didn't have the courage to break up with Kevin for him, so I guess it was no meant to be.
I dont mind a Dair couple but say that Dan was ALWAYS in love with Blair is bunk. He just started getting to know her this year. After everything that happened between Blair and his sister it was understandable that he wouldn't be her biggest fan. But they bonded over their love of cinema and then became friends. He has tried in the past to be nice to Blair but she was never receptive of it until this year and Dan had no romantic interest in her until just now. He apparently has been writing Inside since high school, when he was in love with Serena and Blair was in the way of that. How is it that Serena is barely in there, yet Blair is the main character? What? This is bad writing here guys.
Although I warmed up to Melody a bit in this episode, I was annoyed that she went after her ex at the expense of her friend's show and the well being of her son. Yes what Cameron's doing is wrong on so many levels but yelling at him in public is not going to help your son feel better. Olivia bugs me. I know plenty of alternative thinking people that never would have poured whiskey for an upset 16 year old. That's just asking for trouble. As for Bay and Emmett, their love seems to have so many hurdles :( I think Bay perhaps should have gone to Regina instead. Maybe give a buffer between her and Melody so that Emmett would have been a little less mad. Going straight to his mother may have been the responsible thing to do but it certainly isn't going to do much for their trust issues.
I agree with vik on the Katharine situation. While it was smarter of her to sell the car instead of just pulling out cash, it was very, very dumb to give her that money in public. That nurse would have gotten a lot more money in the long run if she just waited out for the settlement. She could send her kids to college so they don't have to worry about working for corrupted hospitals. Although, I know its easier said than done.
I was glad when Robin and Ted had this talk. It never really happened. I think Robin wants to love Ted because he's always been there for her but she just can't. I'm glad Robin moved out. It was time, she was only supposed to live there while she was unemployed. Its hard to meet the girl of your dreams when your ex is living with you.
Also if Louis was going to lock her away, then why would she be free to attend a valentine's day party in New York with the man she ran off with after her wedding and the man she was publicly caught confessing her eternal love too?
, Blair is MARRIED to some psychotic royalty...Seriously, if I were from Monaco I'd be pissed that my country's leaders were being dragged in the mud. Even if Sophie and Louis aren't real, they've made references to the real royals. Blair is married to some evil prince while being in love with Chuck, although she keeps coming up with bullshit reasons for not being with him and running off with Dan. It would take a simpleton not to know that he's in love with her and I didn't think Blair was a simpleton. Blair, pick Dan or Chuck, this is nonsense.
