I don't like Kim either. I guess they're still working out where Jane/Lisbon/Cho fit in in this new version of the show -- but I hope there are enough who dislike Kim they put her in an office somewhere like the bosses at the old CBI (and use her rarely)!

The Big Bang Theory Review: Umm....

Leonard and Penny need to stay together. Leonard wasn't very good at supporting her or in coming up with something better than "Um." It's funny about this terrific show that you have to worry what they are going to do to Leonard and Penny next -- but Raj and Amy and Sheldon just keep going on and on unchanged forever?!?

The Big Bang Theory Review: What If?

They could have done the same thing with any of the core group that they did with Sheldon -- so, it strikes me that it is Leonard who is central, that Sheldon accepting Leonard as his roommate was the beginning (and the only way Sheldon had any friends at all), that Leonard would have been social enough to bring Howard and Raj from the college into the group and all the girls would follow.

The Mentalist Round Table: "Green Thumb"

This on Kim Fischer was dead on : Entwife: I thoroughly dislike her. She is a cold manipulator and has no feeling for Jane except how to turn him into a tool for the FBI, her tool. She is a bully, in my opinion, harsh, and the end seems to perfectly justify the means to her. That FBI scene is full of cold, grim people! I really dislike the character. She's portraying the kind of person that when bad things happen to them everyone says, It couldn't have happened to a nicer person. I mean, she's not a foil for Jane, she's a nasty piece of work with no redeeming qualities at all!

As I commented, I really really want RJ gone for good -- but that list he gave to Abbott implied to me that RJ disciples are going to turn up and I'm afraid the show is going to turn the FBI into as corrupt an organization as the CBI was.

Lisbon and Jane have a cop-partner relationship. I don't know of such in real-life, but it's a very common fictional relationship portrayed as very close, like the military's band of brothers under enemy fire, and sometimes portrayed as a kind of daredevil adrenaline rush that's addictive to rush into very dangerous circumstances with your partner and win. A fictional character like Lisbon, who has been in law enforcement and has, as a character, exhibited that cop-partner thin-blue-line loyalty would rejoin her partner to hunt criminals. Again, though, I'm only talking book and movie archetypes.

No, "we're" not "all" grieving. Some of us are happy after the RJ story line has been dragged out and into convolutions of ridiculousness. Thank you, Mentalist producers, for finally moving on!

Have they announced that this is the last season? I hadn't heard that and hope you just believe that it likely is, and so it may not be??

Thank you for your comments. I like the show's direction now. Those who don't like the show have been the most vocal in the comments here -- but the episode is still rated above as high as the reviewer rated it, so it isn't a majority ruling the comments, just some strong feelings about it. I hope those who want the show off the air now are wrong. I do think the ratings drop of recent seasons had to do with too much over-the-top Red John and that they analyzed it and are trying to get the ratings back by ending the story line (and yes I know there was a bit of increase from the decline as they wrapped up the RJ storyline, but I attribute that as some former fans returning just to see who RJ turned out to be). The first couple of seasons were the best, were when I loved the show (for the character and portrayal and the fun of it, not for RJ) and I'm hopeful the current direction will recapture that (and maybe recapture the viewers they had then, too).

Thank you. As soon as you mentioned he was married, I remembered that (how she was going to tell his wife about what he was eating, I think)!
