FANTASTIC episode! I loved how they were basically going low-tech this episode, with whiteboards, black markers, & Howling Commando tech. Maybe it's just me. But, I followed the whiteboard explanation much better than I have any of the explanatory dialogue & fancy transparent computer diagrams in the past few episodes. One look at that thing with all its arrows, & yep, I understood. Thank you for showing that Mike Peterson still has some humanity left. He hasn't been given a choice. But, I think he's biding his time & will chose to strike back when he can do the most damage to HYDRA. He looks just miserable being their puppet. As for FitzSimmons, Fitz still had the quarter. So, Coulson could still locate them. I don't know how they'd have any time to pick them up though. Ward can only be redeemed IMO if he comes to realize that it's his attachment to *Garrett* that is his weakness. He survived in that wilderness by his wits & his affection for another living creature. That dog gave him strength; not Garrett. Hopefully his affection for his former SHIELD team will make him see the light, too.

You spend your time visiting reviews, & commenting, on a show you don't watch? Pathetic...

I think the reason the pendant is still in play is because whoever ends up with it is going to sit in that last chair in Oz as one of the good witches. That person will need the pendant to channel all their power. If its destroyed, could be fatal to Oz. Glinda is still in the Enchanted Forest. So, I'm thinking she'll have a role next season in getting the pendant to the correct person. Elsa from FROZEN perhaps?

"SHIELD Manual Chapter 1 - Red Skull, creator of HYDRA, was a fanfreaking NAZI!" - Skye IMO, every SHIELD agent knew that. So, no matter how much Ward owed Garrett (even his life), that should have been a HUGE red flag that said "Bad Guy" when he was recruited into HYDRA. Bad Ward!

That was a flashback to the missing year to explain how Hook received the potion giving Emma her memory back.

Simmons said she didn't know why she was there; that she didn't have any other place to go.

LOVED this episode! In addition to all the awesome WINTER SOLDIER continuity bits, we had great character reveals, some courtesy of the Best Lie Detector in the World. Best answer to the lie detector was Simmons' "The Tardis." Best reveal? For me, second place went to Agent Triplett being the grandson/great-grandson of a Howling Commando. First place went to Melinda May being picked up by her spy mama, being played Tsai Chin, an actress who co-starred w/Ming Na Wen in THE JOY LUCK CLUB decades ago. Oh, their Asian mother-daughter dynamic is hilarious to watch, and I say that as an Asian mother who always seems to be telling her kids to watch their manners, sit up straight. VERY pleased to see Skye pull herself together & fall back on her excellent ability to BS people. Go, girl! BUT...I'm confused about the whole flash drive thing. It's geographically linked? What the heck does that mean? And wouldn't that be really inconvenient if they couldn't decrypt it in the SHIELD's various secret bunkers?

Really enjoying these last episodes. Everyone's chemistry is really firing on all cylinders. Just. One. Tiny. Nitpick....Pete's bangs are a no-no. They make him look childish, like a schoolboy from the 80's. I know it's too late for these episodes. But, I hope the actor goes back to his old hairstyle.

Here is what I don't understand - why is Henry still being lied to by EVERYONE? Just give him back his memories already, for Pete's sake! Everyone in town has them, except for that one year gap. Knowing what secrets and lies have done to generations of their family, you would think these characters should have learned that the truth is the better way to go. But, noooo....they STILL insist on deceiving & lying as their fallback position. And, to a CHILD no less, even though Henry was the reason they all found each other - because he wanted to know the truth. Where is Pinocchio when you need him...
